Interior Trim Question

Doing some painting of some interior pieces. Does anyone know how to remove the chrome insert in the picture?

 

its clipped on from underneath the shiny black trim piece. I painted mine last year, just use a pry tool to remove it.

 

I need to do this too, tired of being blinded by cup holder.

 

when I first bought my truck, I had that major glare from the trim too. tinting the windows and the 5" visor strip across the windshield greatly minimized the glare. I don't get blinded anymore.

 

I just taped it off and painted it. This was about a year ago and still holding strong
