What’s everyone’s trick to getting back to sleep when 4am is too early to get out of bed and your brain is running wild?

I’m up myself. Received my 18 headlights with a broken tab and woke up thinking about how to repair plastic! YouTube and coffee.

Up cruising TW since 5:00 on a Sat. What the hell... Guess I’ll get up, go buy some truck wash supplies, start some beef ribs smoking and wash the truck!

White noise from Bose QC35’s, the most comfortable headphones. Found this out by mistake, would put them on not to disturb my wife and started to realize I fell asleep faster and deeper. Guess it’s why all those people wear them on long flights in business class, it drowns everything out.

Avoid looking at a screen like your phone/tablet, that’ll make you more awake. If you must, use TruTone where the screen automatically assesses the ambient light and goes dim and yellow when it’s dark.

Avoid caffeine in the evening, have SleepyTime tea instead that contains chamomile, a mild tranquilizer. I wouldn’t take sleeping aids/meds, they can be addicting and you might wake up still tired in the morning,

You could consider flying to Seattle, swipe a plane full of fuel, do some loops, and crash it on a island and set it on fire. That should help...

I have some older Bose QC 2s. Never thought about about trying that. Great idea.

My friends wife was out watering. Told her about this thread. She went back inside and brought me this. Same as what JoshuaA said.
