Looking online at what I wanted in my truck, and write it all down to do a factory order.
Regular cab, long box, V8 5.7, 4x4 TRD Pro. Not available in that configuration.
Trying again with the Double cab added. Still unavailable.
    Very disappointing!
I can only get a base truck with regular cab and long box.
Even in double cab if I try to get a long box no TRD available.
So now I am trying to decide what to do.

Just frustrated by the way Toyota packages their models.
    Sorry for the rant.

Just not enough buyers out there for half ton long beds. I'm not surprised they don't offer the PRO package with a long bed.

For me the point of a truck is to tow and haul large items.
Otherwise I would use a car.

You can usually find those shocks on CL. Hell, just about everyone here has upgraded and sold their TRD shocks.

Other than the wheels, decals, tires (which suck IMO) and shocks there isn't a whole lot more that changes it. Just my .02. Hopefully you find something that fits your needs.

lol I tried everything other than deflating the tires to get out. A 1st gen Tacoma came up the trail and winched me out.

Try some Fox 2.0 coilovers. They're adjustable and probably cheaper than the TRD Pro package.

The TRD Pro isn't available with the long bed. I would imagine you can get a long bed SR5 with the TRD package, though I'm not 100%. What is the main reason you want to go with a TRD Pro over the normal TRD package?
With the exception of the interior and stamped bedside logo's, you can build a TRD or SR5 up with all the TRD Pro parts. Specifically in the suspension department you can find other lifts that may give you more bang for your buck.

Also curious what you will be hauling with the long bed? Those babies are big!

After i change bumpers, rims, tires, grill, debadge it, do whatever I need inside, it should be okay.
Seems that I can get a Limited at least if I skip the regular cab and go to the double cab.
Is the interior okay on a Limited?
I can upgrade the stereo with after market components later.
The GPS in the Tundra a good unit?
    Thanks for the help everyone.

I have to be prepared to haul anything and everything.
My current and last three trucks were all long box, and sometimes I wish they had been much bigger. If a 10 foot bed was available I would order that.....why stop there, a 12 foot would be even better.
If my employer needs it hauled or towed, its my job to do just that. If he just wants a quad hauled out to the sand dunes, that is what I do.
Offroad driving is also fun. :)

The GPS is ok. You'll get an upgraded Entune too... Not the greatest. Limited includes some decent features though.

Looks like you would be properly putting her to work then... Sucks that Toyota doesn't have more longbed options for people in your situation. Good luck!

Yes my truck is used primarily as a truck.
If I have to do a road trip not requiring a pickup, i use my car instead.

    That is not good news.
So it will not even have a GPS or satellite radio then.
    No heated leather either.

may have to look at a different manufacturer. That kinda sucks. I use my trailer for most everything other than light items that fit in the bed of my CM.

    Yes, like that.
According to the dealership I called it is not available either.
I talked to them at Pattison Toyota in Victoria BC.
What dealership did you get it at?
    Leather, GPS ?

As far as i knew...TRD is available...just not the PRO package.
    No leather in any longbed.
You can add factory GPS to any truck if you order the truck.
    As far as i know.

Go aftermarket for the leather and GPS. You might like that better.

    If I may ask then.
What is a good GPS to buy that can be built in and not simply perched on top of the dash?

Pioneer and Kenwood make good ones from what I have seen.

I just Bluetooth my phone GPS over the stereo and just listen to the directions. Less distracting and not as much of a theft magnet.

SR5 package, No leather, does have GPS. Royal Moore Toyota in Hillsboro Oregon. Whats funny is I didnt care about TRD but the only way I could get a fuel tank skid plate was if I got the TRD package.
He did say the Toyota build program wouldnt accept what I wanted until he added premium sound package. ( I think thats what he said)

I didn't think that the regular cab trucks offered by other manufacturers were available in high trim levels or with a lot of features.
