Searched forum titles and didn't see a thread on this. Curious when 2018s production will halt.

The 2018s started hitting the lots in my area last September, so I'd guess it'll probably be around the same time this year.

Are there any noticeable differences between the '18s and '19s??

I received a call from the dealer on Wednesday that my 2019 Platinum was built and being shipped. I should expect it from August 15-30th. No differences that I can see by looking at the invoice.

    Entune 3.0
Color matched door handles and mirrors
    20" black rims

    Just kidding. Same as 2018.

I can tell you that blue is no longer an option for the platinum.

I hope they don't offer the platinums in cement so I don't have to sell my '18 and get one...

That’s really disappointing. I was hoping they’d at least add Entune 3.0 with Remote Connect and CarPlay.

You'd think that would be pretty easy to accomplish, but Toyota obviously doesn't care much about the Tundra, as we all already know.

Guess it’s time to find a good deal on a 2018 if there’s not gonna be any differences with the 19. We just bought a 2018 Sienna XLE for my wife and it’s gonna make any Tundra I buy look old since it has Entune 3 and push button start.

Well some of the other 2019 models with Entune 3 will support Apple CarPlay and Toyota Remote Connect. Obviously I can just add an aftermarket stereo to support CarPlay but I would have liked it to have been installed from the start. I figured that with the 2019 Tundra would at least add that, seeing how all the other big brands offer CarPlay and other tech standard.

all I know is that BBP is being dropped across the board. I know the cav blue is offered on the limited so I am guessing they may offer it on the others since the trd pro is getting voodoo blue as the exclusive color beside white and black.

we never really had any issues with our 2016 Tacoma. we just grew out of it. having 2-3 GSP hunting dogs and 2 people in the cab plus guns/weather gear in a Tacoma was just not enough space.

we don't let the dogs ride in the bed, they sit in the cab during our winters. they suffer the same fate as us :)

getting into the single digits and sometimes negatives is a little rough on them between hunting sites (pheasant hunting).

took some getting use to the mpg drop from the Tacoma (15-16 mpg avg over the course of 2yrs) to the tundra (11-12 mpg avg over the last 9 months)

crew cab space is a god send, features were better than the Tacoma (memory seats/steering wheel/outside mirrors), that was a life saver between the wife and myself.

seat heaters are the same, but the vent feature of tundra is way weak.

tundra (225 in) doesn't fit in the garage compared to the Tacoma (212 in)

don't have to do a lift compared to the Tacoma (wife says its high enough) especially after replacing the tires and wheels.

by the time the next gen comes out (hoping fall of 2020) we might be upgrading to the next platinum if they add some key features.

    1. push to start
    2. led's all around (interior also)
    3. entune 3
    4. bird's eye view
    5. better interior storage on the platinum (compared to the double cabs)

Pics of voodoo blue? Sounds devilishly good.

Edit, looked it up. Hard to get a good feel for the color because of all the pics I found online they look different. Lol. Have a pretty good idea tho.
