For the guys that are running fiberglass. What are you all using for inner fenders?

Nothing - a few have tried to make something but the tires just destroy them.

I actually spoke with him on ig a few days ago and he said he never had any made. Said he looked into it but never followed through. I'm only really concerned about the back side of the headlights.. I am pretty sure I can fit something together nicely once i have everything on and see what I'm working with..

If your LT you will rip them off unless you limit your up-travel. If you MT you should be fine. @osidepunker made a set and they did OK but still ended up tearing them up on bigger hits. We were talking about cutting out the inner fenders and moving them up to create more room but nobody has done it yet because it requires moving a lot of stuff in the engine bay. I live in the desert so don't have any real issues but I don't blast thru water/mud and it rarely rains here. The biggest issue is the Air intake is totally exposed and open but I have yet to get any water into it. I do get rocks in the air box and have to clean my filter more often.

    What he said^^

If you're MT then you can just do some plastic liners and pin them in. I did that twice. But I'm LT and the tires make contact on big hits and rip them off so I gave up.

Back of headlight don't worry about it. Its a sealed unit

Exposed intake is only an issue if you do a deep water crossing. But I have done 2' of water a couple times with no problems. You do get more dirt and rocks in there like @n2deep said, but just keep your air box clean. I change my filter and vacuum it out every couple trips

I went ahead and purchased the pump relocation kit. Just for the added insurance. And yea I'll be completely MT so I may just do some massaging of the liners and refasten them. I'll play with it. I'm creative so I can figure something out surely. I'll keep everyone posted. Gonna be a few more weeks before I even fool with fitting them. Got a couple trips planned and I don't want to be playing trial and error in the middle of the woods..

Haha! What happened? I've been considering glass fenders or pro comp fenders as a last resort.

No liner = eventually damaging those nanny air pumps especially if you mud, lol.
