I've worked in insurance for a major carrier in Colorado for 10+ years now and you are correct. There are a lot of PDR vendors moving their operations to Colorado due to the frequency of hail events.

This year is by far the worst in terms of severity I can remember. Get ready for a rate hike. :yay:

Unfortunately that is becoming a reality. I don’t ever remember the storms having this size of hail happening so regularly.
I’ve been lucky but luck usually runs out..

All my vehicles have been hail damaged at one point or another, but none in Colorado. I am to the point where I just live with it as long as the glass remains intact. Toyotas have some thin engine hoods and roofs!

There is not much you can do and insurance covers it. If I ever get some small dings I'll probably just let it go as is.

My doctor thinks I have some SLAP (Superior Labrum Anterior and Posterior) tearing with a little arthritis and tendinitis. It is bad enough I don't shoot nowhere near what I used to shoot. We will know more when I get my MRI.

Ouch @Grumpy Uncle SLAP tearing is all around bad. Not knowing what or where it is, best advice I can give you is strengthen your core and glutes/hams to ease the stress on your back (and probably working their way up to your shoulder) if this isn’t the issue, can’t go wrong with that general advice

I know it’s your shoulder that’s giving you problems, but imbalances start from the bottom and work their way up.

I would also try to strengthen your rhomboids and supscapularis, along with your rotator cuff muscles. Face pulls and W raises do wonders.

Just recently I’ve had some issues with my left shoulder and been trying everything I can think of to fix the nagging dull pain, so in a month or two, I’m going to see a physiotherapist to get an opinion from someone who knows more than I do. Until then, land mine presses have been a great substitution for military presses and had to tweak my lateral raises some. Minus the lateral raises for you, I’d try some land mine presses after those tears heal up. Those help with stability and is a great progression in rehab

I have had a few MRIs. None on my shoulder though. I want to stay away from cortisone, I have had it in my back a few times, I did not like the results or the very invasive pain. If its up to me I would rather do PT and meloxicam (a great anti-inflammitory).

For now they only want me doing some stretches and push ups on an exercise ball. I am assuming because it strengthens the core by making you balance yourself while performing the exercise. thanks @Law323

Definitely do some light rehab first, get the blood flowing for them nutrients! When that gets easier, slowly progress from there. PITA, but gotta get it done and get healthy!

pushups on a ball targets both core stability and shoulder stability
