Ok, so I saw the highest mileage thread. Who has a low mileage first gen?

Mine is a 2005 double cab TRD off road. I'm currently at 145,000kms or 90,702 miles. That works out to 12,160 ish kilometers driven per year by the previous owner. I bought it at 136,000kms.

A few others have popped up on a nation wide search of Auto Trader, but most are much more expensive than I paid for mine, not double cabs or not nearly as well optioned.

So, who else has a low mileage Tundra? :)

I have a 2000 SR5 with 57,000 miles on it. Got it about 3 months ago with about 54,000 miles. Original owner took great care and put about 4,000 miles a year on it.

Wow! Those are some really low mileage trucks. Here I am thinking I did pretty well.

Do you guys have other vehicles you drive more often? Mine will rack up the miles quickly since it's the only vehicle between me and my girlfriend.

I'm in So Cal, weather is usually good, and i ride one of my motorcycles unless i need the Toyota for hauling etc. I am much happier on 2 wheels. The Tundra has been trouble free with the exception of both O2 sensors in the exhaust manifolds went belly up around 7 years and had to be replaced. I did timing belt and H2O pump at about 75k miles. Still very tight, no rattles, paint is still good after 17 years in the So Cal sun. Impressive. Chunk.

I just sold my 2006 Ford Explorer and I also have a 2015 Ford Focus. I plan on the miles going up quick over the next year on the Tundra though. I do Spartan races and drive the truck to them so I can camp out of it. I lost my fuel pump in June when I was in Virginia and I replaced the timing belt in July to make sure I have no issues. Absolutely love getting in and driving the Tundra want it to last!

I'd really like to. For now it's going to have to remain a weekend truck and weekday garage beauty. With all hope, until my son gets his hands on it, in 10 years or so.

It's really been a great truck. Hasn't had any problems. Except the time I ran it till the gas light came on. It acted real strange. Paid the dealership $65 to tell me to avoid doing that again, after it fixed itself.

I guess not so low....135k on my 02 SR5 TRD OR AC bought new in 02 so all the miles are mine. She will most likely be going to a new home in June or July as I'll be retiring and don't need 3 trucks. The 40 in my Avatar was sold last year (replaced by an 85 mini with all the toys) and I have a 15 Tacoma TRD PRO with about 16k on it that wants me to pay more attention to it. Been driving the Tundra for so long that it is usually my first choice for around town stuff.

Apparently a man had it and passed away a few years ago and wife never drove it. I guess they had a lot of money with big climate controlled garage.
