    @KB Voodoo 2 questions:

    1. Is it possible to/ have you seen customers mount inside the rack, as well as outside? If it'd work, I'd want the 10" height rack with mounts for @MAXTRAX and a hi-lift inside, and rotopax and a shovel outside (or I could rearrange of the larger items needed to be outside. I can't tell from your pics if the mounting holes are accessible from both inside and outside-?

    2. Your brackets that allow use with a bedcover are the only quality option I've found for a heavy duty bed rack and RTT system. I've tried keeping track but wonder, do you have have (or could start to compile) a list of tonneau bed covers that work with your brackets (customers' actual installs). Essentially, I've delayed buying bit by bit to make sure everything I get is compatible, and would choose my bed cover to work with your brackets....

Thanks in advance for the answers to these.

    1) You can definitely mount the jack inside (our brackets are designed for that). The Maxtrax probably wouldn't fit on the inside of a 10" rack.

    2) These are the covers that we recommend:

    Diamondback
    Extang 2.0
    Retrax
    Pace Edwards Switchblade
    Bestop
    Truxedo Truxport

Here is the jack shown on the inside:

Alright! So I could mount MaxTrax and rotopax outside, and a jack and shovel inside, with an RTT up top, on a low profile 10" rack. Gettin' closer!

Thanks for the quick reply and (best!), it's what I was hoping you'd say. :)

Thanks man. We put every aspect of bed racks that we’ve learned over the past few years into this project.

The goal was the strongest racks possible, with seamless integration of the accessories that our customers regularly use.

You guys are definitely innovating. So many other companies still offer a basic product when so much more could be done.

Since the width is adjustable, would these racks fit a 1st gen?

@KB Voodoo I am interested in the rack or loadbar (still undecided) and I have a Diamondback HD. In case I get the rack I would like to mount my bikes on the sides (very cool feature that gives full use of the rack). I see a bracket that you have for the rear tire but can you let me know what I need to secure the front of the bike as shown in the picture above (I dont see that in the website) or can I use the same bicycle bracket in the front and secure it with the tire present. Whats your recommendation for a safe and secure install ?

You would remove the front wheel and attach the front fork to amount, like one of these: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...s&sprefix=bike+for,aps,270&crid=3QX5PHUNEMN31

Or if you didn't want to remove the front wheel, you could put the whole bike on something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Thule-594XT-...qid=1533645941&sr=8-1&keywords=thule+side+arm

Any chance you're planning on making a longer one for double cabs? Maybe with 2 intermediate horizontal bars to attach a RTT to? I would :spending:

The 58" is the longest we will make, most likely. There is very little demand for a longer rack.

This is our new MAX URTC (Utility Rack for Tonneau Covers).

It features variable height, up to 24".

It allows you fully open all tonneau covers with the rack in place.

    It is rated for RTT's.

Are these the brackets for attaching @MAXTRAX ? Do the @MAXTRAX locking pins fit into these or, if I buy the @MAXTRAX locking pins, do I need these?

What do these do? Rotopax attachments?

I'm getting closer: 10" high Steel Max, but I need to know:

Can I mount the 58" length out away from the cab of a double cab, so I can center the weight of a 200# RTT. All the pics I've seen show the rack on a 5.5 short bed Crew Cab, but mine had a 6.5 foot standard bed.

If I cannot mount the rack back away from the cab, I guess I'll head back to the drawing board....

If yes, if I'm willing to add a Toyota bed rail system, I need order which mounting option from you?

And... if DON'T buy the brackets to accomodate a tonneau cover now, can I buy those later, and swap out the connection brackets on the rack I getnow w/o 'em, if/ when I later add a tonneau?

Sorry for all the nickle and dime detail questions. I'm not a visual thinker (auditory, for anyone playing along at home; no surprise, I'm sure!), so I have to really get good verbal descriptions to understand. Thanks in advance for your help dialing me in!

Yes, those brackets are for MaxTrax. You would still need the pics from them.

Yes, on a double cab, you can move the 58" rack back from the cab. On a Crewmax you cannot.

For your truck, you would select No Drill Clips as the attachment method, no need to add the rail.

You can order the tonneau brackets at any time: https://www.max-modular.com/shop-max-modular/tonneau-brackets

    PM'd for promo code.

Finally had time to get pics of the 14" rack.

It might be my favorite height. Great visibility out the back window, but the tent won't be sky high.

I'll get pics of it all decked out tomorrow.
