    Road trip up to Richmond to help my nephew with his deck. First thing's first a visit to the new Hardywood Brewery. What a amazing place. Started off with Bubby's BlackBerry Cobbler, ABV 6.8 Smooth light taste, on the border of to sweet, but very drinkable. 2nd on the list is Tropication IPA ABV 7.5 , very juicy flavorful IPA low on the hop scale. Salute my fellow beer chuggers . Oh say hello to the Lady in Red, Gene Wilder would've been amazed. :eek2:

    No lacing, aromas of citrus. Slight bitter taste, and aromas of fresh lemon at the end that settle on the tongue.

    My homebrew
    unk ABV unk IBU (admittedly I didn’t do a very good job of taking gravity measurements. However, based on BeerSmith’s calculations I should be around 5.2% ABV, and 19 IBU. )

    Not trying to brag but damn. This one turned out really good. One of my best batches of this style yet. No haze or sediment, amber in color, nice lacing on the glass. Malty nutty flavor. Smooth finish. Very drinkable. 4.25/5.0
