Looking into replacing my suspension at some point. I am really leaning toward ADS, they seem to make top notch stuff. They do cost bit more than Fox and would have to send them further away to have rebuilt. I do like Fox suspension and they been around a long time. I'm sure I can't go wrong with either one. What do you guys think?

I’m running full Fox DSC and it’s awesome. Only complaint I have is the newer single collar design for the front. I guess it’s fine if you never adjust them. Full ring just makes more sense.

Corrosion resistance is supposedly better on the ADS.

I run ADS, but Fox is just as good. You really cant go wrong with either. I agree with Pale_Horse that corrosion resistance is better with ADS due to their coating.

You can have any reputable shock rebuilder rebuild ADS shocks. They are essentially a copy of King. However, they do require a speacial seal kit that you would have to purchase from ADS or one of their vendors. Ive had my shocks revalved here in San Diego and had to supply the seal kit.

I purchased my kit from MCM and he offered a forum discount. Call and check prices with Matt before you make a decision.

I'm selling strictly because of mcm.. not ads. I had sdhq install an icon system.

Oh no man in no way am I discrediting him or his work. They were going through some things when I purchased and I respect that. For the amount of money I spent with him, i expected alot more in depth customer service. But that's on me. Everything i have of theirs is superb quality. My truck is daily driven. If i need a part, i need to be able to order and install. I wouldnt have time to wait on parts to be fabbed up. Again, strictly on me.

I understand. I'd buy your ADS kit in a heartbeat if I had the cash but I just had a baby....

I'm surprised nobody has snatched up your suspension yet.

Killer feedback brothers. I do like the corsion sealent ADS uses. I live in snow country so that is imprortant. I have heard of fox stachions showing a fair amount of wear to soon. Could have been folks really mashing on them as well. I think ADS is the winner for me. I will get the HSC/LSC adjustments, since I like screwing with this stuff. Years of doing it with my Mountain bike suspension.

Saw your videos, you get after it. Putting your ADS suspension to use. I want to do a overland trip next summer. Like Moab to Montros, CO. ADS outta do that trick. Watched some videos looks like a blast. Need to get some rock sliders too. Anyone planning a trip for next Summer?

The thing that interested me most about ads, was the rebuild time. Per matt, you could easily get 100k miles if you didn't beat on them every single weekend. My local 4wp store deals with icon.. again it was just another no brainer for me.

The wait is a killer but you do know you’re getting great fab work that works great with tundras. So many people have a hard time with alignment numbers. MCM UCA’s work great to help with your alignment.

I just slip it in conversations about how we should have this for our expedition trips. Then she forgets and they show up at the door.

Yeah that will go over real well. Funny she said I thought you bought a Pro so you don't have to upgrade any parts. Well as we all know that is BS, there are always better parts. Having to much fun modding this truck out. She did well when I spent $1200 on a new leaf pack. Next step ADS shocks and SDHQ sliders.
