I agree, both are bad ass. Is the Chevy diesel or gas?

Just my opinion, but the only Chevy I'd buy is a diesel. The 5.3L is a joke of an engine.

They just have to work way toooooooo hard.

Now the 6.0L and 6.2 is a different story.

I'm more impressed by the 6.0L Vortec than the 6.2L in the 3/4 ton Fords surprisingly, though the Ford isn't bad for a 3/4 ton.

Same ride height but look at the meats the Tundra has which equals better ground clearance.

The first thing I'd do with that Silverado is to remove the four bolts that holds on that piece of plastic valance thingy which is 5" of un -needed plastic crap.

You wouldn't believe how easily you can tear that off. We took em off all the new GMC's at my last job.

And it's more like 27 bolts.

Easiest way to remove: Pull up to any 7-11 curb at 1 mph.

2500HD no doubt is nice, but different tools for different applications! Daily driver I'd take the Tundra any day, tow and hauling stuffs the 2500HD takes the cake!

Absolutely agree. I will never DD a diesel again. I learned my expensive lessons (yeah, I was stupid enough to do it twice.). My next vehicle purchase will be a 4 door car for commuting/ hand me down car to my oldest daughter when it is time for her to take the wheel.

Love my new Tundra but I also have a tahoe with 245,000 miles on it. The 5,3L motor had never had any work done period. That motor is fantastic although only generates 285 from 2002.
