That sucks. If it's too close to the side wall the shop wont patch them. I got a new tire because of that.

I’ve gotten a screw in the tire in a similar location on one of my old vehicles. I made them fix it anyways. Roll the dice LOL

I know the feeling brother. I'm could sell my BFGs for scrap metal they have so many nails and screws. On the plus side they provide great traction in ice

It was. And I still have it. Pissed me off cause it was about 200 feet up the road. This was a couple years ago.

I was never a huge fan of my TG’s. Ok off-road, good on dry pavement. Terrible in the snow/ice. Had some decent cuts in the sidewalls when I sold the cruiser.

No one would touch mine and at the time I didn’t have access to fun things to help fix it. Held onto the tire for a while trying to figure out best way to repair for a second spare. Never found a good way. :notsure:

Anything wrong with just throwing one of those sticky rope plugs in there and calling it good? That's what I've always done and never had an issue. Used two in my Nitto Trail Grapplers and drove another 60k miles afterwards.
