The first is a new Ford Ranger, then a full size VW pickup, and finally a Hilux. Sorry for the crappy pictures, but they were taken from a moving taxi on Roatán

Cool! I've got a coworker waiting to get the new Ranger. To bad Toyota doesn't turn Tacos into HiLux's here. Have you seen any Tundras? Any generation?

Really do not understand Ford! This would sell very well in the US.

Both the Ford Bronco and Ranger are coming to the USA,to be released as 2020 models next year. Lots of conformations and spy photos out there . Both to be built in Michigan not Mexico as previously-planned. Peace. D

Ford is surviving on the sales of the 150. That vehicle will cut into sales and more than likely doesn’t have the profit margin. Just speculating a little.

Probably not too far off there. They could price it 80-90% of 150, like Tacoma/Tundra or Colorado/Silverado and do OK I bet....

I saw maybe 4-5 Tundras. Most were second gen., I saw one third gen. With gas over $4/gal, and a poor economy, it's not a popular choice. My friend there told me there are only a handful on the island. I showed him a pic of my Tundra, and he said that would get all kinds of attention there.

I think there's a lot of folks out there who aren't happy with how gigantic pickups have become. My 04 Tundra is a good size but the a Tacoma is now the same size. The new Colorado is nearly as big as the 1500

I'm by all means a weekend warrior but it doesn't make sense for me to have the truck and a commuter car. Just something more convenient than a trailer.

While I actually love how big trucks are now, I do agree with you. I know several people personally who have complained of this and switched to small trucks (Tacoma, Colorado, and Frontier) specifically because the 1/2 tons are getting so large.

Makes sense. Although they are making some big ass RV trailers. It's crazy ho big. They sometimes dwarf the 3/4 ton trucks towing them. I certainly wouldn't want my Tundra any larger. My commute to work is only a little more than 3 miles round-trip so not a big problem for my use. My truck is full of camping gear and other goodies this time of year. Need the bed space. My Taco was simply too small and under powered for me. Parking does suck.

Parking sucks big time in larger cities. Out in the sticks they still make parking spots for full sized trucks.

I rarely drive downtown here in Denver. I like going to Trader Joe's but the parking spaces are made for Prius' and Subaru's..........

I like it but didn't realize the American Ute's made it to Aussieland...haha. Saw a lot of Holden's in the Philippines back in the 80's. Pretty much the only full size cars you would see there back then.

Rangers and Hi-Luxes all over Argentina when I was there last year. Hope Ford brings the baby raptor to the states but so far it's only been confirmed for the international market, I believe.

It's funny you say this. In my opinion, I feel like they have hit a pinnacle of car/truck design as everything looks the same. I know there is a lot of regulations driving the shape and look of vehicles, but I wonder where/when we will hit a point of efficiency vs. function. I passed a Kia Forte today and thought it was a Focus. The Corvette looks way too much like the Ferrari 455 to me. I'm starting to notice how much the front of the Tundra looks like a previous gen GMC Sierra. ALL the tail lights look like a dead ringer from the next. I miss the 2nd gen with an amber turn signal. Something to separate it out.
