Added the stubby, and a tray, which once it was in I could see was damaged in shipment, so sending it back for another.

Installed the painted handles and mirrors as well as the 2018 headlights. Both @Roman and @iHacker came through solid.

I think I’ll bust the raptor triple ambers and the drivers side a pillar handle next week.

    Cheers!

Got the correct size lettering. It looks ok to me, those little letters are tough to get just right. Not sure I'll keep them but will give it some time.

Thanks, I put a number of redneck pinstripes on it by going thru a heavily wooded, narrow trail the day after I bought it lol. So I Started with an aggressive compound from Meguiar's (105 Mirror Glaze Professional Ultra-Cut Compound). The ones that didn't come out from that got hit with a 5000 grit wet sand. From there it went down to a 3000 grit wet sand, and so on down to 2000, 1500 and finally 1000 (all wet) for the deepest ones. Luckily none of them were thru the clear coat, so every single one came out. Basically if you spray water on the scratch and it looks like it goes away then it's not thru the clear coat. But if it's still clearly still there then you'll have to get some touch up paint and have it from that route.

From there I went the other way to blend it all in, eventually getting into my polishes. Once I got it to a point where it looked decent I took it to a professional to finish it up and put a protective coating on it. It actually looks better now than when I bought it believe it or not.

    Got the footwell lighting in.

Finished up the NSV panel install, put a button-controlled LED strip to light up the panel area and installed a lighted button on the center console as well.

Any of you all with this installed hear the items rattling around in the trays? I'm looking to do this upgrade at some point but I'm wondering if a soft, thick fabric needs to be glued into the trays to keep things quiet.

New shift knob. Thought it would be shorter but I do like the looks. Feels much better too.

What kind of adhesive did you use on the edges? I tried this awhile ago and I wasn't happy with the way it looked on the back.

Dont remember where, but I saw one dude who just cut the holes in the foam - didn't buy or install the trey. He used some of the Tupperware totes to pack his stuff in (just have to make sure they're low enough to not obstruct the seat from closing). It doesnt look as clean... but then again it's under the seats... sooo.... lol

Honestly, the cost on those 3 compartment boxes is a little steep for what you get IMO. The long box they offer with the shorter back seat mounting rails... now that's something to look into... :D

I was just looking at the their locking long box actually. Pretty pricey, but looks well-built.

Yeah.. i'm sure the rails included arent a cheap addition to the package.
I'm surprised toyota didnt do more with the space back there/under there....
Center console organization is another place that's majorly lacking from the factory.. but.. thats a cheap and easy fix lol

For sure. I was a little surprised they didn't have a split tray system under the lid. Nissan did that one really well. They have a double-latch system that either opens up a storage tray connected to the lid or the larger one underneath it. Haven't really looked into console storage solutions yet, but it's on my list.

eh.. i just got a cheap Amazon trey. It works well enough.

Others manufactures have a similar thing.. change and smaller stuff in the top part, then the box to hold a small child in underneath (theirs are probably smaller though).
