Just finished the dechroming project, which the 1794 had plenty of. I had considered to plastidip the silver part in the bumper, but now it is growing on me. Some SUVs and Jeeps have the same paint jobs from factory. What do you guys think? Paint or not?

Black would look 100x better. But I would find someone who replaced theirs with an aftermarket bumper and try to get it for cheap or free.

Blaaaaack! But why not find a used one that way you wouldn't have to worry about paint chips

In my area, trucks aren't as modified as in TX, and I barely see them up for sale. I see some parts, but no bumpers.

Atleast the outer section of the grey should be painted. Small rectangle piece could leave for some contrast. Just looks too big and blocky as of right now.

Thanks guys. I ordered the valence unpainted. Should I jsit install it like that, or would having it painted make that much difference? I doubt it and don't think it's worth the extra money.

Have someone hold it and step back and see. Then judge wether you want to paint or leave. Might be just off enough to be a contrast to end caps and body color but flow smoothly. Or might be a sore spot still.

I am leaning more towards just leaving it plain, as I do live in the city and there's only morons that drive here. I won't feel as bad if I painted it if I saw scratches.

Think it'll look awesome either way, but I voted to paint it to make you do more work... :D
