Thanks so much to everyone for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. A HUGE thanks to you Jim for going out and doing the blood and platelets donations. It may not get to me directly, but it still impacts me. Everyone's thoughts and prayers have been working, as my last bone marrow biopsy showed no active leukemic cells. My oncologist wants me to continue and finish 2 more rounds of chemo that will consist of Mon, Wed, Fri, off for 2 weeks recovery, then repeat. This will kill off any "hiding" leukemic cells. As much as I dread more chemo, my oncologist saved my life once before 6 years ago. Thanks again to all of you here that have reached out and stayed in touch. Have a beautiful day and smile at a stranger: makes you feel good!!! ;):mudding:

And a GIANT thank you to you Sunnier for all your offers you put out to help with chores and errands. I never thought I would be so excited to do "honey-Do's". When I am feeling poor and laying around you just look forward to the time you get to get up and do things. :)

I'm glad things are looking up! Will continue with the prayers and positive thoughts.

Question....when you donate platelets do they check your iron like they do with donating blood?

I have only received blood and platelets and not donated. Maybe a quick call to American Red Cross for an answer to your question. Thanks so much for your support.

Hey, anyone heard from John @CM-LENNY? I think of him every day (every time I put my sun shield up, as a matter of fact), and I pray for good news. Kinda feeling it's time to revive this thread today, join a few prayers together....

Hey everyone, thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. I have had a rough time recently. Cancer cells are still in check (that's a good thing ). I have been having non-stop headaches for the last 6 weeks. I have had a brain MRI, CT scans, lumbar puncture etc and all come back negative. The headaches got so severe a week ago that I ended up in the ER and hospitalized for 2 days. Pain meds helped very little. I have tried chiropractic, acupuncture, cupping, massage, essential oils and CBD oils and nothing helps much. My next visit is with a neurologist (5 weeks out ) earliest appt. Thanks again to all of you for the thoughts and prayers............Anybody have any suggestions for headache control. (tension headaches)

Thank you for the update! You got this! :curls:

Glad the cancer is still in check! As for the headaches....i have no suggestions. I use essential oils daily asked they help with keeping headaches at bay, which seem more common these days, and they help a lot. My sister in-law (ex) has changed her cleaning supplies for non - toxic ones and that has helped with her headaches. I'm at a loss though as to what could help you.

Try some dronabinol...this worked for a family member going through radiation for a brain tumor.
