    I know...that's what she said...

Been parking my truck outside and letting the wife T4R and the boys civic in the garage. The previous Tacoma was easy to pull in the garage, but the Tundra I never tried. I did measure everything, but just figured it wouldn't fit.

After the second time my boys managed to hit the d$mn garage with their civic... (It's a 2014...with some minor blemishes, but mechanically solid) it was time to kick them out (the car that is..). They are good young adults, but lack my enthusiasm (wife would say annal retentiveness) for clean vehicles and garage doors w/o dents.

The explanation for this one "I didn't pull it in last night...it was clearly too close." Indicating it was his brother's fault for pulling in too close last night.

    IMG_1649.jpg

This highly motivated me now to actually see if the Tundra would fit.

Fits! I'll put a little marker on the back wall so I can watch it coming in via rear camera.

Should have done this all along....

Nice! Yours fits about like mine - like a glove. Of course with that little of room you have to invest in a high-speed Distance Indicator Sphere.

When I took mine for a test drive the salesman said as we pulled out of the lot, "take a left and we'll get on the highway".
Well, I went right, so he asked where I was going. I said home to see if this fits in my garage. He laughed and we went to my house. Only about 4 miles. I squeezed it in while he nearly had a heart attack watching and "spotting". I have an inch up front and about 10 being, enough to walk around it with door closed. And about an inch height wise, that was the sketchy party, had to adjust garage door a little. Then i drove back to the dealer lot and I said I'll take it.

They work great, Ron. Many different brands/manufacturers but this is the one I bought. It’s over a year old and still flawless.

Mine won’t clear the garage door opener. Might be the color. The white ones are smaller on average.

My truck is longer than the carport. Sticks out the back a bit, maybe 6". Almost smashed the fence that's about a foot behind the carport first time I backed it in there.
