So I purchased my Tundra back in September of 2014, and we had our second child in November of that year. So the immediate mods, and upgrades were put on hold. The truck also became the family vehicle, and the safest vehicle to transport the 2 kids around in. So it essentially became her truck up until this past Christmas. We upgraded from a 2007 Volvo XC90 to a 2016 4 Runner, and I got my truck back.

This is the beginning of my build log, and I have made some major changes already. Im pretty pleased with the initial direction of the truck, but as I've seen, these things take time. So I'm having fun with it, and learning as I go. I look forward to keeping it updated.

This is Ole' Red as she is affectionately known. I got the bed Linex'd and put a Low-Pro tonneau cover on it. About a month ago, I got a wild hair, and decided I would start focusing a little more on the truck, and blacked out all the badges (Plastidip).

After months and months of lurking, admiring, and learning I pulled the trigger on the first major upgrade to the truck. Purchased some Granite rims, BFG KO2's (285/65/18), and a ToyTec 3" leveling kit.

I really love the aggressive look of these tires, and they do a great job traction wise. The ToyTec leveling kit has been a really nice surprise. Its given me a little extra height, I love the stance of the truck, and the ride is still smooth, so I am very pleased.

The night before the wheels, tires, and level went on, I followed the great DIY instructions and installed the Raptor-esque LED's under the hood. This was my first foray into electrical on a truck, and as the instructions stated, it was a very easy install (the instructions made it all the better).

In the immediate future, the front windows NEED to be tinted immediately, and I am wrestling with blacking out the bumpers, grill and bluge, along with changing out the OEM headlights/tail lights and switching out all the lights to LED's.

Thanks again all.... I look forward to learning and being inspired by you all.

Ya I'm digging that color with the black wheels and badges. I think color matched bumpers would complete the package!

I've thought about that, went over to Linex to see about doing the bumpers, grill, and hood bulge, don't think I could have sweet talked my wife into letting me drop a grand to have it done. Color match would look sharp though.

Ah yes linex would be awesome. I've considered that with mine too. Thought maybe you were thinking plastidip or painting black. Curious how much that would run?

$1025, with me taking all the parts off and delivering them. Couldn't swing that unfortunately. I'm in Lexington Ky if that matters at all
