So this crap happened while I was at work yesterday.
Ended the day with more than a couple "F" bombs as you can imagine.
    Needed a tow

Gonna guess $3300 for the fix. Not sure how that spray that the above poster put up works. I’ve used a pepper gel caulking made especially for rodents with great success. Doesn’t kill, but presents a nuisance situation for the animal and it is also inadvertantly carried back to their nest which presents the others with the same problem. They eventually move out of the neighborhood. About $10 a tube. Applied with caulk gun and lasts a long time as long as its not in rain.

Yeah, if this was around my house I would eradicate these pesky critters.

20180724_234254.jpg Same thing happened to my 2000. My man replaced the wiring harness hisself. Worked great for the first 12 hours. And wouldn't you know they did it again the next night. Damn squirrels. He had to re-solder every wire again but we still have a few issues. There must be a crossed wire somewhere.

He also put in this deterrent. Its worked so far.

    That sucks some fucks!!!

Few years ago my old man had a squirrel take a ride on the serpentine belt on the extra car he keeps outside. Texted me a picture, destroyed the belt, engine bay looked like that squirrel strapped a quarter stick of dynamite to his belly and screamed Allahu Akbar!!!!!!!

Had the same thing happen on my 16 tundra. Chewed through about 12 wires going into my abs module. Made a claim on my insurance it was a 3k part for the wiring harness and another 1800 in labor. Mine still ran but every warning light was on and I lost traction control, abs, and the speedo.
