With the LED's that came in yesterday I got to thinking about proper wiring management. In my search for solutions I came across this. Seems pretty bad ass. I think someone was selling a similar, larger Bussman on the forums a while back as well.

What do you all think? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyqTt-KscvE

Care to upload a few pics? I'm curious about cable routing and management as well when it comes to adding accessories.

Since I did the design work and prototyped different sheet metal versions, he gave me a deal if I would let them use the design for future customers.

Need more of this. I love building stuff and this is new territory so I'm highly considering building one from scratch just for the fun of it.

How many fuses and relays do you need?

Not sure just yet. Still planning out the build. But obviously want enough to accommodate changes and future add-ons.

I was going to build mine, but the minimum quantities for different components would have made it more expensive. There were a few people on TW that built them and would only do in batches of 5 or more. Mine has all the weatherproof quick connects sobi can remove the fuse block if needed

On small stuff, like this project requires, Amazon isn't the cheapest place to get it. Looks like the biggest draw back to this is the parts needed must be purchased in bulk or you pay a ton more per piece. (100 waterproof 18AW plugs = $6 or 5 for $13). I'm gonna have a ton of extra stuff leftover lol

I spend around $100 investing in a lot of the Metri-Pack 280 series 30A rated waterproof connectors and all the little pieces that would be needed so I can make my own harnesses.

I do pretty well with boat/marine electrical parts on Amazon. When I put my truck together I guess I did end up with a handful of extra relays.
As you can see, I mounted my fuses and relays in different places. I looked at building something like you are talking about but I did not want to mount it to the top of the factory fuse box and I had trouble finding something that would fit in the area I wanted it.
