Take that switch to Grainger and have them match it up. It may not look quite the same but will function the same. They'll be able to hook you up with a new knob also.

Who needs a switch? have the wife hold the wires together while you're sitting out there having a beer.

Grainger may be able to help you. You could also google or search the "General Electric Splicer" and any other info on switch.

Grainger is $$$$ (but they can get anything and its the right part). Or, Amazon (serial# search) shipped right to your door (risking getting wrong part).

I tried Jimmy rigging it, by drilling a small hole in switch then using a small screw and screw through dial, dial would just turn

Grainger is great. Our go to place in Anchorage. Pricey but I usually walked out the door with what I needed.
