I was working for an It company. I resigned from my job last week. It is so stressful to work continuously. I thought I need a break. I am planning for an extended vacation. Next week, I might leave for a trip. Before I leave I need a space to store my vehicle for one month. I was looking for an enclosed indoor vehicle storage units for cars. A friend of mine suggested one of the best self storage in Burlington.
Before I leave, I will shift my car to this storage unit. I haven't used indoor storage services before. What all things to be done before moving the car to a storage? Do we need to change the battery?

One month isn't that long, and the storage unit may offer a battery charging service.
    Have a great extended break!

A month isn't terribly long but it can't hurt to disconnect the battery and put it up on jackstands so you don't get flat spots on your tires.

For many years I had a "summer" car that I'd swap out with my Tundra and drive that. The only issue I ever had was the occasional flat battery in the Tundra. As mentioned they may offer a battery tender service, or you can get one on your own. They will likely have a way to meter your electrical use and you'll have to pay that on your own. Depends. Also make sure their pest control is adequate, the soy based wiring insulation that Toyota uses can be attractive to rodents.

If your battery can't hold a charge for one month there is something wrong.

You don't have a buddy with a large yard/parking pad?

I just ate an omelette that was pretty good but I thought maybe had spam in it. But the server was female so I didn't ask.

Hi, Peyton! Please post pics of your truck, and welcome from the best breakfast spot in California!

Don’t leave ANY snack or food stuff in the truck. Ask Storage unit about Rat/Mice control; those critters love the insulation on wiring.
Enjoy your vacation and freedom from stress

If you leave an open can of SPAM in your truck it will repel the critters.
