Chemical Guys and Adams Polishes are fewer. I’ve been using Adams, but tempted to buy CG to try.
I also use Adams Car Shampoo prior to the foam soap.

I've had great luck with the Chemical Guys soaps I've used. I bought one of their foam cannons and used the citrus wash and gloss in it with awesome results!

I used meguiars ultimate first with surprising amount of foam. Using Mr. Pink from chemical guys now. Works well. Researching a spotless DI cartridge for future washes.

Chemical guys extreme body wash .
I also modded a second pressure washer spray gun to shorten up where the cannon attaches. Much easier to use 8F27F52D-AFB9-41CE-807F-5CA40D2DCC7C.jpg

Chemical guys is good stuff. A little on the expensive side. Especially if you wash the truck as much as I do. I use a similar pressure washer and a foam cannon from Amazon. Wash my truck and wife's Highlander every Sunday. I've had good results with Mothers in the cannon. upload_2018-7-18_0-11-35.jpg

Another vote for CG Honeydew Snow foam and warm water. Listen to @SouthBoundSteve . He’s learned a lot from me.

I plan to use Mr Pink from chemical guys. I think I saw 1-1 mix for the foam canon container.... seems excessive. Be sure and put water in and add soap second or you’ll get suds in your container...

Correction: mix ratio suggested by chemical guys for Mr Pink is 16:1 water:soap for their Torq cannon. I'm sure nozzle and psi strongly influence the mix that works best.

Another technique if you add soap first is to simply submerge the bottle in your rinse bucket. It will fill it up without suds. I prefer going to my sink as I use warm water to fill up the bottle...seems to dissolve the soap better.

Chemical Guys Honeydew, Mastersons Snow Foam or McKees Extreme Foam will give you excellent results. Meguiars Gold Class also foams well, but it dissipates quickly. Try and remember that it's not necessarily about having tons of 'shaving cream' consistency foam on your vehicle...think about why you're using soap in the first place. It needs to have good cleaning power, and sufficient lubricity to mitigate the damage to your paint while washing.

I've settled on a 7:1 water to soap ratio....tried 10:1...too runny for me...5:1 too expensive. Is your power washer gas or electric?

I pieced it together, it’s an MTM hydro spray gun and I just bought the fittings that fit my foam cannon and pressure washer

Yepper, the first thing I did was ditch the long stick.
I purchased a short gun handle. Much easier to use!

Having a little fun...foam soap dye...

    Pink

    Orange

    Yellow

I've become a big fan of the Poorboy's Super Slick & Foam Soap Pre-Soak Shampoo for the foam cannon

Where do you get the pink soap from?

What I've really been wanting is a rainbow color but don't know how to get that with the foam cannon and can't find any rainbow color soap online..

It is actually the same Poorboy's Super Slick & Foam Soap Pre-Soak Shampoo.
Notice the position of the car/camera tripod etc. for the different videos.
The color comes from an industrial car wash shampoo dye added in the bottle.
If it were me I would not try it. It took weeks to get that colored soap out of all the cracks.

I use this one. I think a few other guys here do also. Don’t drop money on an expensive one. There’s little if any difference.

Perfect. Also, how nice of a pressure washer do I need to get if my truck is the only thing I really plan on using it for?
