I found this grille on the ineterwebs. Looks like a 00-02 truck. My 06 would love to have one like it. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

I've asked Ramon about getting the emblem. If I could find a black mesh grille to fit my truck I'd be set.

I believe Enve Grilles is working on some first gen designs.

Seems like the 1st gens need a customized job. Was thinking that mesh one could be reversed to give that recessed look in your picture.

Ok. In case anyone else is interested, I found a mesh grille made by Paramount made for a 03-06. I'm going to order that and find a factory Toyota emblem. Wish me luck

I saw the title of the thread and immediately thought: "you should get a Weber".

Good luck in your hunt for a grille.

    Helpful. Thanks I will.

I went back and added E's to the grills for the grammar police.

Will do. Saw a 91 Land Cruiser the other day which got me thinking about it. I'm waiting on the autoanything member to get back with me about another grill. If it doesn't work out I'll go with the Paramount that Casper has. The emblem appears to be pretty easy to find.

Wow. Just a joke, man. You asked about a grill. Wasn't really a grammar police comment - I just thought it was funny that I immediately thought about a Weber before opening the thread. One of my favorite hobbies is grilling and smoking meat.

Lol. It's cool man. I used to live and work in the other Atomic City. Lots of intelligent people there too. Not much for social interaction though.

Ok thanks. After a little digging, I found out that Paramount makes the Pro Z brand that autoanything carries. Just rebranded I guess. Going to go that route if it's cheaper.

Home made grill. As mentioned above its Called satoshi grill mod. You need mesh grill material, dremel, fiberglass, jb weld, paint, nuts, bolts, landcruiser emblem and time, lots of time.
Very popular among Tacoma guys, I did it on my 08 Tacoma, was hard work but looked sick.

Yeah. I'm going to just buy the mesh grill and stick a Land Cruiser emblem on it lol. I always thought about doing that to the 2013 Tacoma. I just don't have that kind of time to invest. I am going to PTM the letters. Hopefully it still looks decent.

I tried to stick the Toyota emblem on the grille but couldn’t get the prongs to line up and have the emblem completely centered. My OCD kicked in and I scratched the idea. I like the “naked” look more anyhow. I know it’s a Toyota, if others don’t, that’s their fault for being stupid.

I like it too. I'm just wanting an old school look. I have some leftover 3m emblem adhesive if I run into trouble

I JB welded some bolts to the back of the emblem and used washers and nuts on the back side to hold the emblem on...in addition to 3M tape

Try ebay for the 06’. The one I posted for the 02’ looks nice, but I think think in real life you’d be able to look right through and see the rads and horn. Deal killer for me. That Gillcraft company has the best fitn’ finish compared to the others. Their mesh has a nicer design thats pleasing to the eye.

When I did my Tacoma I rattle canned everything behind the grill black. Helped a little but you're right there's a lot of stuff behind there

Was looking at some more grilles for the O6’ and saw some un-foto shopped pics. You can see right up in there with that mesh. Those billet style ones look good and seem to hide the backround better by breaking up the sight lines. Some good options out there whatever style is picked.
