Ok I got out the 2010 Raptor today for quick spin to the store. Let me tell you I love my 2016 TRD pro, but it is not close to the old Raptor.

So you're saying the old Raptor is a lot better than your Pro?

Anyone would feel giddy driving a 6.2 off-road truck. Still a Ford though.

The Raptor rides better, drives better, steering is still tight. It's got 135k miles. The stereo blows away whatever crap Toyota puts in. Don't get me wrong I do like the Pro. I would sell the Pro before I ever got rid of the Raptor.

For what it's worth your Raptor is probably better than the new version I would guess.

Some guy just bought a new 2018 Raptor at work. It’s a pretty damn nice looking truck. Actually I think it looks bad ass!

But, two reasons I would never buy one..
    1. I’ve had two Fords and had way to many issues.
    2. This is the most important to me... 70 plus thousand for a half ton truck? Hahaha. Shit, that’s probably 1000-1200 a month payment unless you stretch the terms or put a fat chunk down.

I paid around 41 for a Limited Tundra and that’s a lot easier for me to swallow.

65,000 grand 0 interest not including taxes etc 60 months 1083 a month. If I was spending that on a car payment I would have a bad ass Lexus or some other luxury vehicle that would be fun to drive.
    But, to each their own..

You only have 38k in your lifted, fender flared, aftermarket bumper, with winch Tundra?

Pro will hold value based on just that. It’s a pro. My SR5 has better suspension but will still be an SR5.

I love my tundra but the pro should at least have a bypass shock in the rear like the raptor or 3.0’s front and rear. I know I know it’s gonna raise the price but still, the raptor is better off-road as far as hauling ass in the desert right off the showroom floor but.....it’s still a Ford. Looks like the new pro is still the same except for a new hood, wheels, oh well I can build my soon to be paid off tundra to be better than any raptor.

New Pro comes with Fox shocks. Improvement for sure.

For the price of a PRO I feel like it should have more options... but like everyone is saying, a Raptor is still a Ford. No matter how much you polish it - it's still a turd. :)

This exactly. I came from Lexus, and was supposed to be in an Audi S7, or M5 right now. Things didn’t happen as I would’ve liked because I wasn’t expecting the first person to buy my Lexus within 3 days of listing.
Plans now are to save for an M5/S7.
I’m going to end up in a low mileage M5 and a used Tundra for nearly the cost of a new Raptor would be. It’s a no-brainer for me.
If I only had one vehicle that my be a tough choice, but I’ve always needed/wanted a fast car and lifted truck - not just one or the other.
    No auto-loans for us lol.

    Yep - that’s her. Is that yours? F10? I’d probably end up in a 2016 F10.

I love the S7, but the AWD just crushes my dreams. Really wish they did a RWD/AWD option. Sliding around on-ramps in a RWD car was always a blast.

I wish it was mine. It’s my friends m5. Was originally his wife’s til he crashed his m4 at Laguna Seca during a track day.
With a little more power and some technique you can get a awd sideways-ish lol
