At least it's a Chevy. Could be a fucked over recycled dodge. After what I went through, any friends or family that own a vehicle with a blue oval on it park on the street.

I'm with you - My second choice after the Tundra would be GMC/Chevy.

And the Tundra is a better overall truck, but this Chevy would beat a non-supercharged Tundra in a street race.

Same thing happened here. My son was visiting and his truck would not start. 2 days later...15171F83-D69F-4E69-8EC4-AB9234C5BC44.jpgA3693D30-9E82-487B-8927-E5C265780246.jpg

Man.. you guys are being dicks.

1: Who cares if he's a Chevy guy? It's fun to talk shit but when you're REALLY that invested in the brand of truck you own you have problems.

2: I owned a 2016 Tundra. It's not nearly as fast as comparable models from Ford, Dodge, or Chevy. That's just a fact. It sucks too, because it's better in almost every other way, but it's a lumbering old dinosaur in comparison. The Ecoboost they put in a v6 Ford can beat a 5.7l Tundra. Easy.

I may be being a dick, but seriously I would never go be a troll on another "BIG 3" forum....mainly cause I dont give a damn about them. Obviously, this guy has a reason to be here, and/or something to prove.

.....who is he to you that you feel pm obligated to stand up for him?

Irrelevant either way, but at least you've owned a Toyota and have contributed to the forum, as has others on here. As far as his comment goes, hes obviously bragging about something. Apparently it's his lack of knowledge in Tundras, or else he would know you can get a column shift, if that's what hes referring to on the shifter. Or maybe, just maybe it up his ass. Why dont you tell us since your lips are there?

Maybe, but I'll bite. I drive and work on, on average, 3 to 6 new GM's a day. After experiencing firsthand the lag in throttle response on the 5.3's, I have a hard time believing that it's going to beat a Tundra in tow haul with anyone that knows how to drive.
I'm also not much of a Ford fan but (without getting political) taxpayers lost 2.5 billion on ALLY (GMAC), 11.2 billion on GM, 2.9 billion on Dodge and 26.5 billion to the UAW in subsidies. As a fiscally responsible, middle class conservative who works very hard for his money, anything GM or Fiat can stay the hell out of my driveway.

You, friend, are a cunt. I'm just going to come out and say it, no point in attempting to be clever about it. Get fucked - if you haven't already today.

You guys weren't talking about a tow/haul, you were talking about a race. And yeah, I know how to drive - well.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24jkYvp6wbA

If you're telling yourself that the Tundra is the end all, be all of 1/2 ton pickups, you're lying to yourself. It's a great truck, but it absolutely doesn't win in every category.

This kind of highlights my point - it's just a bunch of people expressing their opinions and then you get some "my dick size is attached to my truck brand" dipshits in here escalating it.
