2015 tundra exhaust

    Was looking at my truck exhasut and I see that there are 4 cats on it and the 02 sensors are em between the two on each side I was curious if I cut the back ones off would it throw a code or would it be fine?

    Is there an 02 sensor behind the last CATs? You might not get a code but you might have some trouble passing your next emissions test.

    Are you sure the second set are cats? On a previous truck I had 2 cats and 2 resonators that looked the same before the muffler. No issues removing the resonators.

    No sensors behind just in between the two and not sure 100% if there cats or not just assuming

    Some states don't allow you to much of anything, like CA. Need to check your local state regs.

    They're definitely cats. No benefit to removing em except its louder. Illegal in commufornia. Fine for the United States of America.
