Let me start with I FINALLY GOT A TUNDRA!!!!!!!!
For years I have liked the truck. Three years ago my F-150 died and I wanted a tundra but could not find one I could afford (new) or one that was used that had the basic requirements on the cab (Crewmax full 4 door) and interior(all I really wanted was BT). This weekend I stopped at a Toyota dealer expecting to leave my Name and number for the next used Tundra that came in. Low and behold they had two there that I could see both were 2013 one for 33K and the other for 22K.

The 22K was one that I could easily afford but the only reason it was 22K was it had 122K miles on it. Three years old and 122K miles. I can only figure they are highway miles. The truck was super clean.

I have heard people love their Tundra and that the last and last. So my question to all of you experienced Tundra owners. Should I be concerned about 122K or is the party just starting and the truck is well broke in...... The dealer gave(sold) me a 24K and 24 Month B2B warranty.

BTW the dealer provided me with the service history on the car it was serviced regularly every three Months with oil changes using synthetic. That put the average oild change at about 10K markers.

Love this truck.what say you Tundra fans did I do good? This truck was clean inside and out.

Welcome! So you got the $22k with 122k miles on it. What are the details of the truck? Lift, wheels, tires, 5.7L or 4.6L, SR5 or Limited or..... Etc?

Welcome to the forum! From your description, it sounds like you got a well-cared for truck. These babies will go a hell of a lot farther than 122K so I wouldn't let that keep me awake.

Welcome! Wow! That owner put some serious miles on in 3 years!
122k is still warming the engine up here. There's a guy that posted the other day with 525,xxx in his 1st gen. There's also one that rolled 1M miles on his 2nd den!

Welcome to the site! Little too late to be worried about the mileage... You already bought it. Try not to worry about it and enjoy the truck.

Welcome from CO. Good maintenance history is a plus. Sounds like highway mileage mostly and the truck is still fairly new (ish). I think you did OK.

Sorry I wasn't thinking about those details I was just more curious about mileage concerns. It a very plain tundra. No trim package as far as I can tell no labeling on exterior of truck. As I said it has built in blue tooth and satellite radio but none of the reverse sensors or camera. Not even a power driver seat. Has new rubber and brakes and good records.

One question is how can I tell if it should have key fobs? The dealer listed it on the sheet but they are having trouble finding them. If push came to shove I could buy them but if the truck doesn't have keyless entry that obviously won't work then it would be alarm time.

I would make the dealer provide you a complete set for free. Dealer cost can be quite pricey for the fob.

So on Tundras is the keyless entry a default standard on all Tundras ?

Yep. Make them order and program it.

As far as I know, yes...all it is, is a remote with lock/unlock/panic.

The dealer should be able to take the VIN# and get the build info. I've seen some build out info that had "keyless entry delete". If the dealer had it listed on their sheet and can't find them...........ask them politely at first to provide them.

You can probably run a search on Toyota website or the Toyota app to find out what features it should have.

I wouldn't worry too much about the mileage, especially sincw they're likely highway miles. My dad's old 07 work pickup is still running, and its somewhere around 350-375,000.
