I’m putting together a list of parts to order to level my truck. I’ll be on pavement 95% of the time. I have a 2016 MGM CM SR5 4WD with 6500 miles.

Here’s what I know I need/want to buy so far. Aside from an alignment, what else am I missing?
    • Bilstein 6112(2.5” setting)
    • Bilstein 5100 (rear)
    • Toytec Rear Shackles
Obviously wheels and tires are next but I want to do the suspension first. Pictures below for reference.

Could do UCA’s since the front end will already be a apart.

Also, I would suggest a diff drop.

The 5100's in the rear will support up to 1" of lift. If you are going to use the Toytec shackles at the 1.5" lift setting you may want to consider 5160's for the rear - these will support up to 1.5" of lift.

Ahh... good to know!! I guess I need to decide whether or not I would use the highest setting on the Toytec shackles.

6112's at the 3rd setting (~1.9") and no lift in the back is level. At the top setting (~2.5") and shackles set at 1" in the back you will have a very slight rake (so slight it will likely look level).

I have 5100's set in the middle with shims on each side and this gives me 2" of lift in front. Initially I did not lift the back and I was very happy with being "level". During the summer I carry a load every day so I added Toytec shackles set at 1" and I love the look and the ride.

Get the 5160s imo. I highly doubt you will regret it and can’t say the same if you go 5100 and then want 5160 later, like me.

If you are undecided about the rear lift height, you may want to consider OME rear shocks. They are rated up to 3 inches of lift.

If your truck is 4x4, you may want to consider a differential drop. Cheap insurance (I think they are around $30).
