i know I know. first world problems....

Went to the marina yesterday, and there's this loser boy using my hose, my scrub brush and my soap to clean his boat. I told him he would have been more then welcome to use my stuff, had he simply asked. He stammered on about thinking it was all community equipment supplied by the marina.

Its funny how when people make such assumptions, they always tend towards their own benefit. People are so self-absorbed these days that there is seldom a thought about their impact on others.

I fuckin' hate people like that. I had a guy at work grab my speed square from right beside me to lay out his beam real quick. I lit him up and told him to take a hike. He said he only needed it for a second and was working 10ft away. I told him he lost the privilege of borrowing when he grabbed without asking, especially as I hadn't worked with him before. He asked me if I was really going to make him walk all the way across the shop and get his own. You bet your ass I am.

It's been 6 months. He still hasn't said a word to me. Just gives me a sullen look when we pass.

My big one is guys who don't wash after using the bathroom. I've been in some big corporations doing demo's of our Tech and had to hit the john after to piss, Mr. Bigwig suit and tie will walk in after me and do his business. Then will want to shake my hand right after. I politely gesture to the sink I am walking to it or as I'm wiping my hands dry and he looks at me like I'm from another planet. This has happened on more occasions than I care to remember. Its nastiness like that which makes me think about all the door handles and shit I have to touch to get in or out of Mr.Bigwigs place and then to think about all the other people who touched and don't wash or had their hands in their crotch, ass, nose, mouth, etc. DIIIIIISSSSSGUUUUUUSTINNGGGGGGGGGGG.

Good damn assholes walking 3 people shoulder to shoulder and they expect you to get off the sidewalk to walk by. Like bitch, 2 way sidewalk move behind each other and let people pass. Finally got tired of it and walked into the group today. Got scuffs and dirty looks. Told them if I wanted to walk in the grass I would have and they need to be more considerate of others. :annoyed:

I’ve done the same thing, and don’t look back. Pretty sure one guy was more than a bit surprised after he met my bony elbow.

Yep. This is exactly the type of stuff I hate. My bathroom comment was just one primo example of selfish antisocial behaviour; this is another!

I keep baby wipes in my truck. Originally I keep em for cleaning my hands after gutting a deer or dropping a deuce in the woods. Now if I have to use a public restroom I bring em with me. People are nasty as hell these days. I don't touch a door handle or faucet handle or the soap dispenser handle bare handed.

I make it a game sometimes...like how many things do I really need to touch with my hand? Try to limit it like golf, lower the score the better.
