Toyota Tundra (2007-2018) - Race Series Lower Control Arms
    • Bolt on 4130 boxed and internally gusseted lower control arms feature an integrated CNC billet uniball cup.
    • Coil over shock tab fits aftermarket 2.5" and 3.0" shocks.
    • Features dual shock tabs to install an optional secondary shock.
    • 1" 100% stainless steel uniball replaces the factory lower ball joint.
    • Built in steering stops do not require any ball joint cradle modifications.
    • Heim sway bar link upgrade replaces the stock rubber sway bar link for ease of installation and eliminates binding during articulation.
    • Replaceable polyurethane pivot bushings include zerk fittings for easy maintenance.
    • *1.25" wheel spacers are required if dual shocks are installed with factory wheels.

So on a stock setup, is the UCA and shock what's stopping the whole wheel from the fore/aft movement? With how easily it looks to move the LCA in that direction the UCA must see some serious forces no? I'd love to do LT but uniballs on a daily with road salt winters wouldn't be the greatest setup :(.

I thought the same thing, but ended up going stock width on my FJ.

Didn't want to deal with the added width and extra goodies that go along with it (extended axles, tie rods, fiberglass, etc.)

With a little shock tuning the setup was amazing. I'd do it again on the Tundra

That's what I was hoping for. I noticed they do make a bypass race setup for other vehicles.

I see that, so is the pictured lca from a different vehicle? Any option for a extra hoop? I am also running RW wheels and will never run wheel spacers.

When everything is bolted together you won't have as much play. Let me see if I can uncover a video I had of stock LCAs with the bushings blown out. You can see the movement in the arm. I'll post up if I can find it.

I wanted to clarify a little. The TOTAL CHAOS Toyota Tundra LCA does have dual shock capability. If you choose to run a secondary bypass shock, you will need to purchase the TOTAL CHAOS Shock Hoops. Together you will have everything needed to mount a shock like this:

The picture posted does not have the bypass shock mount on it. So is it included or is that something that has to be added? I only ask because most don't have the ability to weld that on themselves and would prefer it be already built into the LCA. The TC upper mount would need to be welded but there are a couple of bolt on upper bypass mounts for the DIY without having to weld.

If you use another brand hoop(bolt-on), possibility of not fitting/lining up with the lower mount?

1.25" wheel spacers are required if you're running a secondary bypass shock with factory wheels.

The bypass shock mounts directly to the LCA, here is a different angle :)

Only welding required is on the Upper Shock Hoops

Is there a reason there isn't a "gusset" on the secondary for the LCA? Looks like just a longer bolt is used.

The TOTAL CHAOS Lower Control Arms are only compatible with the TOTAL CHAOS Shock Hoops. Geometry and spacing will be very different with the competition. Icon or similar offerings will not work.
