I know that Toyota supposedly made the 14 and up ride less harsh, but how was this accomplished? What changed over the years?

The reason I’m asking is because I impulse bought a belltech 2/4 drop suspension, once received I changed my mind about it. The kit is for a 07-13 and a buddy of mine has a 2018 and he wants to buy it. My question is will it fit his 2018?

As far as I know the suspension is identical

From what I can tell they are, trucks are both the same specs also, we called belltech and the guy that answered said it wouldn’t work but I don’t see why not, I feel like he just answered by what the computer says.

Maybe they changed something slightly with valving, but the mounting points and geometry are the same as far as I know.

Only mechanical differences I know of are the air box and some crossmembers in the back depending on which gas tank it has. But the front suspension is identical
