    The car was more of less a highshool graduation gift. He is going into his 4th year of Chemical Engineering. He just took his MCAT test this past Friday. He has applied for Medical School here in my home state. He’s really a good young man. The car is currently sitting in my garage while he and my wife are vacationing in Greece. I have informed him that once he graduates Medical School and his residency I expect a nice Corvette. ( ;

    Not hardly, my family was poor. It just something we wanted to do for him since he has worked so hard.

    Like melt it down, and turn it into something you want? :confused::D

    I’m they same way though - the odd time I borrow something, I treat it like my own. Meaning it’s usually fixed / washed / refueled, or somehow better than when I got it.

    This is the internet though, it changes people.:p

    I have to say, that is pretty flippen awesome. Not sure how you afford insurance (oh, you don't live in CO), but hopefully this is something Jacob does for your grandson.

    Ever hate when you make assumptions and it puts a lump in your throat?

    That is an amazing memorial for your son Jacob, and there is no doubt in my mind he is looking down on your family in appreciation.

    Oh I sure did. Not much as far open roads out here but it handles awesome. I took it for a ride a few years ago and got to open it up a bit. He also has a Mercedes s62 amg that I really think is quicker than this thing. Supercharged AMG V12 4 door sedan lol that thing has some nuts for a daily driver.

    I made fun of him when he got it cuz it's a California, pretty the worst Ferrari ever. But once I drove it I realized its still a Ferrari so I took it back.

    Yes that's the one. It's amazing. I have dibs when he decides to sell / trade it. It's an unreal vehicle.

    They're really cheap used for what they are. Seem to lose half their value in a year or 2. I'd love to pick his up in a couple years.
