I have a 2016 Platinum Tundra. I am trying to blackout all the badges and the grill. Nonetheless, in all of my searches I can't find the "Platinum Tundra" blackout overlay. I am also looking for a good replacement grill. Any direction would be much appreciated.

They dont make platinum black out badges or overlays unfortunately so you'll need to paint or plastidip it. Plastidip seems to be the way to go. I'll soon be doing mine but just the word TUNDRA on mine, I don't want it all black.
What kind of grill do you want? A platinum replacement to black out? Or something different? If you want the trd pro grill you can get a very good replica on ebay for 150...they list at 169 but you can make an offer and they will settle at 150. Then take the pro insert out of it and stick it in your platinum surround. There's also a few companies that make black inserts but they aren't cheap.

I was thinking of blacking out just tundra with some plastic derp. Its the only part of the badge that's chrome the rest is a brushed metal look and matches my OEM wheels. I took the other badges off and have no chrome on my truck and all except this one word. I've also thought about pulling the badge and disassembling it and painting each part but idk what colors yet.

Each part can be painted individually. I kinda like this other than that nasty MGM color ;)
Idk what colors I'd use, I thought blue somewhere but that may look tacky. I'd kinda like the surround black and the platinum lettering brushed metal, then the tundra part black with brushed metal background...idk I never know what I want lol
I do have some silver streak mica paint that I used for my letters on my pro grille. I had to change those since they were MGM stock. That was really slowing me down. Plus my old Taco was silver streak so I kept some of that paint and i like that color
