I want to install aux backup lights into my bumper. The question is how to wire them so when I backup will light and and to install a switch(on,off) to use it as aux light while car is in the parking mode (dual purpose ). Any schematic/drawing or instructions please??

Thank you I'll check that and yes cutting into the bumper it will be nerve racking but to mount them under looks agly to meat least.

I mount something like yours in the front grille. For the rear bumper I want to install them in the bumper (for a cleaner look). Don't get me wrong, yours look good, (I'm still debating how to install them) but that's how I want mine. There is that part where is ?? Under bumper or in bumper. If lights are going bad and have to replace them, it will be a challenge to find with the same hole configuration( in bumper mount) under bumper easy replacement. Factors that I'm debating.

My mod in the ARE camper with bed rug I install blue led strip lights in the back and on the sides. (On,off switch)

Amazon. Everything that I buy I use Amazon Prime.(not that I advertise for Amazon) it just that trust with product return in case of bad product. And I read reviews before buying.

I just spliced mine right into the reverse light so they get power from that. I don't know if that's the safest or best but I have no issues out of it. I also plan to run a switch one day, I'll probably just run a relay from the battery to the reverse lights and splice them in as well. Unless I learn that can hurt something.

Back roads and off road, I used a lot at night there is lots of animals on the road special deer. It's flood with spot combination. Summer we do lot of night fishing and going and coming home that's the safety way. Two weeks ago we spot a herd of deer (about 300 yrd.) by the road(like 5ft) in the ditch you only can see their heads.

    Not nearly enough room here!
With Rigid's kit you get a switch, relay and enough wire but at their price, you certainly should!

I know. I look at them, to expensive, not that I'm getting cheap when comes to my rig but I can buy 5 sets of lights with that money. Looks nice yours. I think I'm gonna install them on the switch only and turn them on when needed. Thanks for the picture.

Nice, looks good. You should add a lift and aggressive tires to compliment the vinyl now. :D

Ridgid is really "proud" of their products.I bought these from Amazon for $379. I wasn't smart enough to order the rear camera when I bought my truck, so no issue there:facepalm:.

Just finished installation and try it last night. Camera vision perfect, light in the back perfect, I put it on a switch in the dash so I can turn them on when I want (not connected to reverse light)
