Did you sand or prime the chrome from the cup holders or just spray it black?

I got a message today from @jewsNbrews and will get these figured out. I wrapped the rings around my vents without removing and wrapped the rings around the AC knobs by removing them individually. I’ll get something you can install without a knife. The ones I’ve seen on here were shit and looked like they didn’t fit right.

@texasrho83 to answer your durability question.... I wrap cars, when you consider the fact that this vinyl is applied to the exterior of a car that gets driven up to app mph and sits in the sun and the snow and the run all year round, it is much easier to grasp the thought of its durability on interior vents. That’s an easy way to think about it.

I'm in buddy. I was literally just sitting in my truck at 1115 at night cuz I'm a lunatic...looking at these trim bezels thinking "I hope Matt can help me out here" and it wasn't til that moment that I also noticed the AC knobs. It must be meant to be buddy lol

Makes sense now. When I saw “decal” I pictured sticker in my mind. Wraps are a whole other matter.

I have two pieces of red chrome I was gonna do my buddies truck with. That’d be cool. I will figure this out AFTER I am caught up with yours and everyone else’s order on here. This Cadillac took me foreeevvvvveeeerrr. But it was so worth it and now we are going to do a ceramic coating over the wrap for durability!

Yea to be fair, most companies don’t use wrap vinyl for this stuff, but in all reality they are all so much alike as far as durability. Wrap vinyls are just easier to install with more comformability.

I have no idea lol. Pics and a series of calipers? Maybe i can buy one and mail it to ya
I'm more interested in the vent bezels but ac control knobs would be cool too. I'll snap pics now.. not sure if they are much different that ones in your pics.

Yea they're smaller aren't they? I've been asked for 3 full wraps in the last two weeks. Hopefully this along with becoming a ceramic pro installer will bring me enough revenue to buy a 2020 HD Platinum I'm dreaming about them making.

Sweet thanks Matt. we'll make it hapen, I'll try and get them off this weekend. I'll figure out how to remove them.
As far as the vent trim you think you can make something to install that doesn't require removal?

4wd selector too? Haha I may be pushing it now

I'm gonna try and get my steering wheel badge off too and paint it. I think it needs to be cut off and glued on though.

lmao yea the 4wd knob would be overkill and much harder. let me know how the steering wheel badge goes.... thought about wrapping mine. but it'd probably be a bit to loud for the neighbors

so you're going to remove, and glue on, a plastic emblem that is in front of an airbag? makes perfect sense.

Hmmm good thought. Thats why they make it so hard to get off. I guess there's not really a good solution here then
