    The concept is ugly imo.

I’d have to give it some thought. For my use (mostly road use) I don’t see why not... but it won’t be in 2020. I plan to have my 2017 tundra for a LONG time.

I like my 5.7 without a load. The extra power is FUN!

Not sure it makes sense for off road use... I guess time will tell.

2020... that date sounds familiar...

If it had 1000 mile towing range at 80mph per charge, AWD, some lift, large crew cab similar to Crewmax, <$70k. So...NO.

Give it a 500+ kilometer range while towing 10,000lbs at 110km/h, at -45 degrees Celsius, a recharge time of 10 minutes and an out the door price of under $40,000CDN. Then I'll be willing to discuss such a vehicle. I still wouldn't buy one until charge ports are as available as gas stations.

Last I checked electric vehicle technology has nowhere near the range, the reliabilty, the charge time, the versatility, the longevity, the economics nor the reduced enviromental impact to make considering an electric vehicle even a remote option if I lived in a major metropolitan center like Edmonton, Alberta. I live in a city of 50,000 people in northwestern Alberta. Im 450 - 500 kilometers from any urban center larger than that.

So...I'll take a hard pass on a Tesla pick up for now and stick with my gas guzzling 4.7L V8. Thanks for coming out though Elon. I'd rather see you dump money and time into Space X. I'm tired of Earth, I wanna see Mars!!! :D

aahhhh... NO. Especially if it looked like that. Other than the looks, the range on these EV vehicles need to greatly improve. There is a Tesla charging station nearby and I love driving by with the rumble of the engine looking at the stone cold faces sitting int the drivers seats.

That has to be one of the ugliest excuses for any vehicle that has four wheels that I've ever seen. I wouldn't have one if it was free and could go supersonic.

I'll buck the trend... I'd be all over one. I'd almost give my right nut for a TeslaX, when i was buying my wife a new SUV, i'd have been all about one if i could afford it.

Will it look as ugly as the concept, i doubt it, but it will look very different from a regular SUV since there's no need to hide a 6l engine. Since I'll be driving it, all i care about is what it looks & feels like on the inside.

If I had money like Bill gates and a garage like jay Leno, I’d probably buy 2. A white one to lead the way and an MGM one to follow it around

Hmmm you might be on to something gosolo! If Tesla skipped the clearcoat on white like Toyota does they’d go even further on a charge due to less weight!

But internal combustion engines are going the way of incandescent light bulb. Eventually they'll be banned in the US. California will lead the way on that. We like to set the trend.:D

Nope, I like starting up my Tundra in the morning and hearing and feeling it come to life. Something about punching it on the interstate and listening to that v8 sing. Plus charging....I don't want to deal with that.
