For now I'm am putting a Mac trac leveling kit on my 16 crew max 4x4. The kit comes with a 2.5 strut spacer up front and a 1 inch block in the back. First question is the 1 inch in the back really needed to level once I put 2.5 in the front. 2nd question if I do really need the extra inch or so in the back would it hurt just to go ahead and put an inch or 1.5 inch aal in the back instead of the block. I figured I would need to go ahead and upgrade the rear shocks to 5100s or ome. Long term I will probably put ome shocks and coils up front to achieve my lift I just don't need to spend the money now. Mainly cause I just finished lifting a 16 Tacoma 3 months ago and ended up selling it once I realized how not kid friendly it was. Mommas not the happiest with me right now lol. Any thoughts appreciated

I have 3.5 (OME) in the front and 1.5 aal in the rear and I am almost perfectly leveled. I would think that 2.5 in the front without blocks in the rear will get you pretty close to level.

Personally I don't like spacers in the front or the rear. I've seen things breaking with spacer more often than I would like.

Thanks for the insight what set up do you have getting 3.5 in the front with ome? I want to eventually upgrade to a full ome setup but didn't know you could get it up to 3.5.thanks

I have 614 coils in the front without a heavy bumper. I wasn't sure if I needed a set of upper control arms. I did not want to install it twice, so I went ahead and got upper control arms installed. It seems that most people get around 3 inches of lift with 612 and around 3.5 with 614. If you don't have a heavy bumper, do not get 613. Without a heavy bumper, you get even larger than 3.5 . . . And your truck will ride pretty rough.
