So I received this truck about 2 and a half weeks ago, and boy did the mod bug give me a crazy itch.

    Here it is:
    EEB1B89C-BD32-478D-9A93-D3E4CDB7161C.jpg

First mod was tinting those huge windows, the truck was a oven in this Texas heat:
    A8B761F0-F859-4731-B715-EF18561E7B70.jpg

Then I clayed bar’d it and sealed it:
    5A08E855-FA5D-4488-A5D2-B93390F5871E.jpg F0394AF7-74A8-4F8E-A2B2-3F45834186AE.jpg

I bought this truck to run errands............in a quick matter, so this will be a functional street truck build.

    More to come, stay tuned!!!

I agree, and I have been dreaming of the day that I can do that, now it’s becoming a reality but.............as much as I love supercharged tundras, I haven’t read about a case of one passing 150k and I keep my vehicles for a while.

I told my nephew about supercharged tundras and he went out and bought one, I drove it, it’s fast, he’s making 530 ish to the wheels with a pulley, his tranny went out though.

My goal is to beat his truck at the track, all he does is spins, and I have some tricks up my sleeve so it will be a good race.

Sounds fun! If it wasn't for the need of extra cab room, I would have went RCSB as well. Looking forward to watching the progression of your truck.

I removed the supercharger from my wish list because of what you mentioned, and because my truck already had 270k on it when I purchased it.

So these tow mirrors don’t belong on a rcsb, I’m not even going to tow with it and it doesnt give it a street truck look sooooooo I found some 2016 mirrors locally.

    E8A158DB-2303-4550-9ED9-41A5B8C8E8C4.jpg

But I’ll be damned if I throw more chrome on this truck:

    BEB6F90A-2378-4883-A3FF-3EF50720D802.jpg C42C8C0A-8CC2-4F70-B851-3FE100B60581.jpg 6226B75C-B72B-4546-9010-9A5D43D8B077.jpg

    And here’s the finished product:

The war on chrome is coming guys, brace yourselves!

    Smart man!

I used my factory tow mirrors for about 6 months, then swapped them out for standard mirrors. I am much happier with the standard mirrors, and I think it looks cleaner without the tow mirrors.

Does the silver pro shifter have red stitching too? I'd be all over either of these if you'd wanna sell and its not red stitching. Red doesn't go with my interior at all

I agree, the guy I bought the standard mirrors from had just taken them because he installed tow mirrors lol he told me he was having trouble getting used to them. I didn’t like them one bit.

I'd get tow mirrors if they had all the features of my platinum mirrord, mainly heat, power fold, and BSM, could care less for memory and I'd give up autodimming too. I've yet to find any with those features. I think they look badass on certain tundras, but I agree not a rcsb

The driver side mirror is fine, the passenger side’s it’s a bit different, the magnification of the mirror itself, hard to describe but its like its zoom in too much, it created a blind spot on the side of the truck obviously because it’s design to show you what would be beside your trailer or whatever your hauling.
