I'm real surprised the Tundra didn't do better. The Ford did real well, because its difficult to crash it when its in the shop all the time.

Tundra and GM basically had zero changes from the previous year so not too surprising. Still very good though. Not sure what 's up with Fiats' truck....heh heh

Here is a quote from the article:

Two pickups built by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles <FCAU.N> <FCHA.MI> - the Ram 1500 Quad Cab and the Ram 1500 Crew Cab - received marginal overall ratings for their performance in a test designed to simulate what happens when a vehicle strikes a tree or another vehicle with just the driver's side fender. One model made by General Motors Co <GM.N> and one made by Toyota Motor Corp <7203.T> also received marginal ratings in the latest round of tests, the IIHS said.

Interesting read. Thanks Matt for sharing.

The DC actually fared better than the CM. Can't be much of a difference. Same suspension and frame. :cookiemonster:

Ford drivers will need that protection when their EPAS fails and they end up here...

Quite frankly we are giving Shit Creek, Ireland a bad rap. I may want to go there now: http://www.surf-forecast.com/breaks/Shit-Creek

I could use a Guinness rite about now.

(Note: It may be hard to navigate Shit Creek with all the stranded Fiat RAM owners clogging it up.)
