Anyone ever tried to get 6.5" door speakers in the rear door of a 3rd gen double cab? I ran across a good deal on an HD900/5 and 4 C3-650's, with a 12 w3v3.. reckon there's any way to fit that in my 2018 DC??

i've put 6.5's in my 2012 dc and they work great! Just buy adapters to fit them.

I have 6.5" Focal's no problem...may need a spacer or a mount..I am not sure on that I didn't do my install and I don't have pictures of those doors before the dynomat went in.

I love focal, if I hadn't run across this deal on the JL speakers and amp I would've went with them. I've considered changing my home theater over to Focal.

Yes you could say there is a difference haha. To be fair in my 4Runner they ran a single strip by the front doors and it helped. This time we went overboard and oh my god is there a difference. I remember the first time I closed the door.. it’s like a tank. I too am hooked on Focal...and we have the same amp too...maybe subs I can’t remember which line they are from JL.. just the thin 12”s.

Thats gonna be a killer setup, assuming that you can fit that sub somewhere in the truck. How much you pay(ing) for all that?

The sound deadening makes a huge difference like stated above. If you're installing your own system, its only another add 2 hours to do all 4 doors. Highly recommended.

You fit 2 12's under there? Did you take the storage thing out and use the whole under-seat area?

Yeah.originally we were going to do 4 8’s but I found a company that makes a bunch of boxes for our trucks so I saved a bunch of money going that route over a custom box. My box goes all the way across.

What company is that? I haven't decided what I'm putting under there but a box selection would sure help
