Gave the trailer a coating with Thompson’s water seal(natural cedar). Shit sure was dry.

Yep Rincon. We love it there too! Took two hours and 15+ laps to find a spot on Wednesday. Still worth it.

We’ve had pretty good luck on any day. Are Tuesday’s the best?

We have had pretty good luck arriving on Tues or Wed due to people leaving from the weekend. But summertime might be a whole different story.

There are usually spots open but I won't even attempt to parallel park a trailer ! lol

Just picked up this little trailer. Has one slide and is 18’ long. Nice dry weight of 2700 lbs. Truck pulls like a champ. I do have Old Man Emu Dakar leaf packs under the truck. Also, I have a pair of airbags, though in the picture they are empty. All sits pretty flat. 26.9 L/100km average. ~2200 rpm at 110km in fifth gear lots of power and doesn’t gear hunt often. I’m pretty happy.
Bonus: Wife let me buy tow mirrors by default haha. Delivery for next week!

With that small of a trailer just park it as close as possible and put on the wheel attachment than push it into place. Not speaking from experience :spy:

Has anyone had connectivity issues with the factory trailer brake on a 2018 Tundra? I took mine into the dealer and they changed out the first one (so they said) and the second one they said was operating "as it should" . Took the trailer to a hitch company and they couldn't find anything wrong with the trailer. Last year I towed the trailer with a 2017 Tundra and although I didn't think the brake was great it didn't have connection issues like the one I have now. Toyota said they have 4 open cases and no other info. Let me know if someone out there had the same problem and what was the resolution.

Damn! That looks fantastic. Nice work. Haven’t seen one of those rolling around in quite awhile. I remember when they first started using them though. It was a big deal back then. Everybody wanted to be pulled over by one lol.

That's not mine, but I'm guessing it's a Heartland Mallard UL M33. Looking it up, great layout almost like ours, except our bunkhouse and indoor kitchen don't slide out making ours 1000lb less.

I tow this once a week.
Not sure what year it is. I'm guessing the dry weight is 30lbs.
Fully loaded it may top out around 150lbs.
Not sure the effect on my mpg's as I don't leave the driveway.
