Just got a set of used spyders with hids. I was selling them but screw it I am going to install them. I took off the grill and immediately got confused :) where the ... Do I put that stuff? I couldn't find a place for it. Cables that go towards the battery are labeled: battery +, battery -, ballast and shorter cables that hand downwards are labeled oem input and ballast. I'd greatly appreciate your input

Sorry they are different setups. Always connect your battery - last.
    I would assume....
Battery + goes to positive (red) on your battery
Battery - goes to negative (black) on the battery
OEM input, plug your factory headlight plug (what plugs into your stock bulb) into there
Ballast connect this to your ballast, then the ballast to your bulb.

    Is that everything?

I want you to know I really appreciate you taking your time to help me out because you are helping by clearing things up. Where do you think I should mount the fuse? I couldn't find a place for it

I'm not sure what your fuse looks like, I but anywhere out of the way, I used Velcro to secure my ballasts to my headlight. I tucked my MotoControl wiring harness out of sight (that includes my fuse).

Just be careful not to short anything out. Have your connections made, then + battery, then - battery.

    Eureka?

I wish I had a garage. I'd be working on this right now. I am super excited. I did not pull out the piece under the lights so evidently thats where it is at.

Thanks to your help, I was more confident in looking around trying to find spots. I think I am going to do exactly what you did with the pictures under "running your hid wiring" section. I didnt understand it at first but now I do. I do not want to drill anything but I think I have to in order to mount the relays. I hope I can mount the ballasts on the light itself. Thank you for your help. First time I got scared, second time I made some progress, and lets hope third time is the charm :)

You got this. If not, research more.

There aren't that many connections with HID's, just try to break it down.

    Good luck! Keep us updated.

Success. I love them. I bought the spyders used and I think the seller also upgraded the projectors. Cutoff is clean. I was able to move my leveling motors into those I am stoked about that. It takes a bit to warm up and they shake a little on bumps but I am not complaining whatsoever. I can finally see. Thank you for your help!

Outside look. Wiring is pretty much same as yours. Mounted the relays to the column on the driver side next to the radiator. Wired the ballast cable from the relay through the section behind the hood latch to the passenger side. Double sided taped the ballasts onto the lights. Looks clean.

Great job man and they look so nice on your truck. Output seems really good too. So many guys complain about the spyders brightness not being enough. If done right with HIDs they are really solid, they dont seem to like LED bulbs but the HIDs really shine (pun intended) in these lights.
Props to @MotoTundra for all his help and pointers here, what a great group of guys and gals we have here!!!
