    2002 Tundra 4wd
Hi folks. Finally after using this site for a while I decided to join. I have four Toyota trucks. A 1990, a 93, a 95 and a 2002 Tundra. Except for the rust up here these trucks are bulletproof. I missed the deadline on getting a new frame or a buy back on the 95 and I regret that. The 93 is Rusted a whole lot less than the 95 is. The older trucks I use for plowing and for utility use but they're still running strong. The tundra I got a new frame put in how about the last two weeks of the recall. Even though the tundra is really powerful and I got yet because I had a big boat to pull I really like the maneuverability and the response of the Tacomas and the pre Tacomas. Now if I could get a 95 Tacoma with a V8 engine and automatic transmission, now that would be a truck to be reckoned with. The tundra is a powerful truck but it is kind of loose and Squishy on the turns especially in the woods and especially at high speeds. The small trucks are very responsive and when driving the 93 or 95 I feel that I am a part of the vehicle and not just a driver or passenger. Why do trucks have to get bigger and bigger and bigger every year? I want to find a 1989 in pristine mint condition and even if it costs $20,000 it would be worth it

Welcome from Texas. I like the room i have in the tundra since i have kids and all their crap and all my military crap. .. works great. My 87 Toyota pickup wouldn't be able to do what my Tundra can but i still kick myself for getting rid of it.

Welcome from Denver. At 6'5", I personally need my 3rd gen tundra. I don't for at all in the pre tundra trucks, especially those old tacos. Shoot, my close friend has an '02 4runner and we have to always take my tundra because my knees are planted in the dash of his 4 runner
