hello from no. California. I was browsing craigslist and found a Tundra, actually picking it up tomorrow, unless you guys tell me I’m nuts.
What I found is a 2007 Tundra Limited. The truck is pristine and has only 36,500 miles on it.
It is 4x4, has nav, dvd, rear camera, etc. one owner, recently passed away. It is the crew max, short bed, grey. He was asking $28,500. We agreed on $24,000. I know that’s a lot of money for an 11 year old truck, but I think getting a 5.7
Tundra limited with such low miles at that price to be a great find. Am I nuts?

The original owner also customized the exhaust. There are now SIX tail pipes coming straight out of the back under the truck.. I can’t find any info on such a modification. Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, it’s good to have found you all.

I don't get the six tail pipes. Any other modifications? What does KBB put the price at? Got a picture?

Any pictures? In my area that truck would be around $20,400-$23,900 in the private party value according to KBB.com based on what you posted.

    Welcome from Texas!

Welcome from NorCal. 6 pipes sounds a little excessive to me.:notsure: I know I'd be changing that immediately but, that's just me.

Thanks for the responses to all. KBB put the value right at 23-25,000 without taking into account six tail pipes, lol.
I won’t have pics until I pick it up tomorrow. Your responses about buying it are very reassuring.
The original owner was disabled and 76 years old when he bought it new. That makes the six tail pipe thing even harder to wrap my head around. The truck also has a couple of extra back up lights mounted under the bumper, they look professionally installed and of nice quality.
It has a rhino lined bed and a hard cover over the bed. Again, thanks to all for sharing my excitement and answering my questions.

Okay, I just HAD to call the seller and ask about the six tail pipes. They are just tail pipe extensions and I imagine easily removable. I kept trying to Imagine how 8 cylinders flowed thru 6 pipes. Thanks all for pointing out the oddity. Yes, we do live in the hills, way up in the hills. :oldglory: Nice peeps here, thanks

Well, I picked up our Tundra today. I am really liking it. I really appreciated the welcome and feedback.
I know some of you want to see my SIX tail pipes. They are indeed tri tips attached to stock pipes, lol.
However, a one owner 5.7 crew max limited with 34,800 miles...loving it, thanks for the encouragement to go for it!
