    So I have been doing some research on these two mufflers. I have listened to sound clips of both with different setups in regards to exits. Single and dual out the back. I like the sound of the flowmaster muffler and they have many different options. Anyone have either on their 1st Gen Tundra and how do you like it. I am looking for a good sound without too much interior resonance. I am debating on keeping the exit as original out the right side or going to both sides for the look. Is there any benefit or downfall this? Thanks for any tips.

    Well I looked but don't see any mufflers for my truck. It's not a 2007 or newer. Unless I am not finding it, does he sell any for the 1st Gen Models?

    I'm sure he does. I believe he's got a 1st gen himself.
    @dirtydeeds chime in?

    I've had flow master on previous trucks and wish I'd gone with another brand like Borla.

    You see the white 1st gen tundra on the home page with the duct tape on the tail light? That be his fun 1st gen.

    Keith has the no drone, best HP/TQ numbers figured out on the Tundras. I would call him personally.

    I will try and contact him next week and see what he can set me up with. There isn't anything on his website on what I can see.

    On another note, Borla exhaust isn't cheap. Don't have a budget for that.

    Don't know how many posts I've read on here and the other forums where the Tundra owner said, "I can't spend the money for a BA System". Later-on,the OP returnes, telling us how they can't stand their Dronemaster or Magnarasp system, so they're ordering one of Keith's Catbacks. Keith's System is the one you want on your truck, if you only want to pay for one.

    I sent him an email, so we will see what he has to say. I haven't made any purchases yet so I am weighing all my options.

    So I have contacted Keith at BAmufflers. He sent me back an email on what I want and how much it will cost right now. I am corresponding with him in regards to doing just the muffler and the resonator or just the muffler itself. I don't know what the drone sound is like so I am not sure how much of an issue that is or will be. Anyone have this issue or did and went with the resonator after not doing it the first time? Gonna try and work out the details and will probably go with his setup and try and bring out more of the horsepower and torque from my truck. Updates will be coming once it is completed.

    Drone is the frequency that makes your skull resonate and your eye balls liquefy like when someone strikes a 10 foot gong. My BAMF did it until I put the resonator on. God it was painful.

    Knowing the sound level I was after,Keith sent my 10" system with the tailpipe all ready drilled for the Resonator.It just clamps on the tailpipe but would need a carton much too wide for shipping, if he mounts it first.Some,on here and other forums have waited on the install,I knew I wanted a mild sound, so the system was set up that way.If you want,he'll 'mark' where the resonator goes, so you could hear how your system sounds without it,then decide.

    Thanks CMB. Keith sent me a pic of the muffler setup that would be installed on my truck and the resonator is built into the pipe that has the muffler attached. It is a different setup than the newer models and the video he has on his site. So I am looking at 375 for the muffler setup and 30 for the hangers and then shipping costs. It is a weld on setup. If I want to bolt on then it is 695. I just cannot afford that right now so I am going to wait or look at other options. The muffler shop locally that I would use is closed right now until next week, so when they open I am going to talk to them and see what I can get from them. I also found a video on youtube of the Aero Turbine muffler from parleysdieselperformance and it sounds badass. So I may go that way and it can be used on gas engines.
