Your going to have sag even with the hitch.Or I should say I did.I spent hours adjusting the Hitch got it real close but all you have to do is load different and its off.I am using the hitch and bags.Made 2 trips and works good so far.Plus something I thought about is getting off somewhere and either lose something off the hitch or somebody want it more than me or something breaking on the hitch and how would I get home?Have you ever hooked the TT up without the hitch? My front wheels look like they could easy come off the ground. So I put a regular hitch and ball in the truck just in case and I can air up the bags and come home.

I'm a fan of my Husky centerline. Distributes weight well, has room to grow in weight and is great with sway. Have towed in 30-40 mph gusts and it really holds a straight line. I'm just under 11k gcwr with my Gen 1.

Nope. Save your money for fuel, stereo, or get something that has been proven to increase HP/TQ (headers and exhaust).

I have the fipk kit from K&N and I think better throttle response and I felt a slight bump in HP .obviousl ono numbers attached but the claim is 9hp for the 4.7 from k&n. Take it for what it's worth.

Finally hooked the trailer up with the Ranger. Only took a short trip but it seems to do perfect with the weight. Brakes seem a bit spongy but then again I am used to 3/4 ton trucks.

I usually only tow my Civic to and from the racetracks on a Uhaul trailer. Looking to buy my own trailer, just have to make space for it.

Anyone on this thread pull a trailer with a truck bed camper on? I’m hoping to get a bed camper and pull my horse trailer around...

Are you talking about a truck shell or literally a slide in camper?

I was talking about a slide in camper but have found that’s impossible haha. Disregard the question. Thanks!

There are lighter ones for you. Might not have all the amenities as a big Lance. Look around.

We just got both truck and trailer last year. I've taken it 6 or 7 times. Longest trip so far was only about 200 miles. Longest duration was 5 days (dry) due to the smaller holding tanks.

Stopped on the way to the camping site to give an idea of road I travel on. This section was good. About 2000 ft elevation in the Eastern central cascade region. Sunny day there!180785CC-C5AA-4AE3-A1C5-40504C5CDC15.jpg

Yes they are. Wait until you have sunglasses on and a ball cap pulled down. I've crashed into mine a few times. But well worth it to be able to put it out with the push of a button.

Awesome. Congratulations. When's the first trip? We are pulling ours to the gulf coast next month to camp for a week on the beach.
