Where can I buy and who has the best deal's?

I noticed some people were saying you will need diff drop kit and bump stop extensions are recommended.

Thinking about doing middle setting so I won't have the bro lean.

Has anyone tried out the bilstein 5100s from Amazon? If so are they the same thing. I am unsure if I should purchase them from there. Apparently you can get it with the diff drop kit for under $400.

Bilsteins from Amazon are the same - just search for the correct part number to make sure you are getting the correct ones. I ordered mine from Amazon because I needed them ASAP - had first decided to do a spacer lift and then decided against it 2 days before my install appt.

I have also ordered parts from Toytec and their customer service is great. They will make sure you are getting what you need. With Amazon you need to know exactly what you need and there is none at Amazon who can guide you.

10-4! Since you are using the 5100s... what size tire are you using and did you do anything else. What setting are you on?

I did 5100’s on all corners and went with the middle setting and a coachbuilder shim on each side in front - this made the total lift in front ~2”. Front was level with the back. During the summer my bed is loaded with everything for my kid’s swim meets so I just installed Toytec shackles.

For tires I am running GY Duratrac 295/65 18’s on SCS wheels with a +25 offset. Had to remove the front mud flaps and push the front liners forward.

Did you do a lift as well or was the 5100's your lift or both?

The 5100’s for the front are adjustable and provided the lift. Shocks alone will not lift the back so I used Toytec shackles for 1” of lift.

Ok I have a RC 3" lift level kit now and wonder if I went with 5100 would it get me up a bit more before I add my new rims and tires? My rims are 18x9 with +18. Tires I want are 35x1150 or 1250 18 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I am so stuck right now. Ughhhhh I dont want to rub or give up 35's

Let me know what happens. I am interested in 4 of these but Im so confused about them. I have a 3-1.5 rear RC lift kit I just put in. Will these raise the truck even more more? I have not been able to find a straight anwer on here. I am installing 33x12.50x18 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 18x9 Rims tomorrow. I have stock shocks now. I will be towing a 30 ft Catamaran boat 10,000 lbs. Will these handle it? I need more information so I can buy them already.

Adding 5100's to the front won't lift your truck any higher than what it is now. On their own they are adjustable for height but when combined with a lift Bilstein wants the ring in the bottom groove, which is basically the stock height setting. 5100's on the rear should help with overall ride quality but isn't going to help with extra weight support. For a boat that heavy I'd be looking at Timbren springs or airbags.

We normally set the 5100's up on the top setting and then use a few of our Coachbuilder shims to correct the lean in the front left corner and add a touch more height. This is accomplished by using 2 shims on the driver side and 1 on the passenger side. the truck sits level left to right at 3"up front. A front diff drop is great a great idea at this height. We build front bump stop extensions but don't normally use them with the 5100's.

If only setting them at the middle setting you'll end up with about 1.75", ride quality is great but would still recommend using 1 of our shims on the driver side to correct the lean. No diff drop needed.

    Hope this helps.

As another poster said, I don't think you are supposed to put the "lifted" version of the 5100's on with another spacer kit. Also with the 3/1 kit you have on, you will be fine running the 33's. It would probably start looking like the tires are too small if you go over where you are with the lift.
