Well I'm pretty stoked about my trip , we just got back from 7 day trip from Surfside beach , towed my camper for first big trip and was great . Now I did install airbags and TRD sway bar and I have the Reece stay straight sway control weight distribution hitch which helps but the Tundra kept her straight as a arrow and it did not ever feel like it was struggling to pull . Tundras are great for towing , I probably had near 8000 pds and 850 pds tongue weight but it's distributed between 4 axles (wdh awesome if your towing ) . Thank you Toyota , I can say I get alot of looks like what the hell that's a Tundra pulling that ??? Yep ;) , ohh I did have a little tow match I'd like to share with you gus it was great . So there was a 5.4 Ford f150 looked to be about a 2014-2015 pulling a camper HALF ...HALF yes the size as mine and we come to this Red light...Tundra with 8000pds vs F150 with 4-5000pds , he stomped it about the same time I did , I pulled on him till he was at the back of my trailer (35ft+truck) shifted to 3rd and I let off , of coarse he stayed in it till he finally passed me lol just a little tow fun ;) , anyway truck did great and had a awesome time . If anyone is looking for a awesome camping spot that's laid back and can hear that water like it's in your camper , great people , cheap prices , super clean try out Lakewood Camping resort in Surfside beach South Carolina (South Myrtle Beach)

I wish I could afford that Kodiak camper. What's weird is when I was younger, when I'd see a camper like yours, "Who the hell would want to camp with that???. A tent is so much more practical." (boy was I so wrong)

LOL I agree sorry it took so long to write , well the USMC tent is alot easier to pack up and clean haha . Oh I forgot a part of the story , the next day we where at the campground directly beside me was a Tent city , 5 Huge tents and probably 15+ adults with some children , well about 1am a storm came threw that I swear my camper sounded like it was in the ocean , so I got up and also my son did too and looked out the window and there was literally a river running under those tents and Im not exaggerating , it was nuts . Next morning when I woke up around 10ish lol , they where gone needless to say . Dont get me wrong I love tent camping too time and place for everything , but the wife hates it and after doing the camper thing It was awesome 7+ days at the beach is alot more enjoyable in a camper than in a tent and I know who has slept in my bed . I am new to it and got one heck of a deal on the camper is the only reason I went with that particular camper and the lay out is awesome for a pull behind , On a 5 hr trip I had 3 sways that where due to a bad crosswind but other than that the TUNDRA didnt skip a beat . We are going to the outer banks in a few months with some friends which is gonna be about a 7hr pull , I cant wait !!! Here is a pic of the kitchen this is what sold us along with the bunk house

no i think thats a little overboard for my application , I check the pressures about 1 time every 2-3 weeks and its holding fine , i keep about 4 pds in them . I run my ends to where the gas cap is and works great, hidden and keeps all the trash out of my fills

I still enjoy a nice remote tent camp. I spend most of Sept each year in the bush up in Alaska. Love the remoteness and the outstanding hunting. Our camp is out of Kotzebue above the arctic circle.
In a couple of days we're heading to AZ. to pick up a new trailer.
