Well I finally decided that I will "blog" or just put my build here. So - this is a 2014 SEMA Build and I will start slow on the posts updates.

Everyday around here has been like christmas, starting off with the best of the best for what I wanted. No Fine Print - BDS 7" Suspension with FOX Coils I can't thank both of them enough for being part of the build - making my dream come true. IMG_2509.jpg

Hey buddy, the bed is line-x'd already yes. It was done within 2 days of having the truck

Alright sorry guys I hope I get to everyone.

My truck is a complete show truck yes, this is the second truck I have built and this will be better than the last. SEMA is the largest automotive convention in the country, its in Las Vegas every year and you have to be invited by a company to represent them for your vehicle to attend.

The list has changed a little bit since then I went a differen route with some things so its exciting!

I was originally planning on Toyos but I may have to run Nittos which is no worries with me. I am going to either run 35 or 37 depending on the offset and rim size that I go with.

I couldn't be happier with this exhaust, best of the best Corsa sounds great no drone but mean when you get on it. Teaming up with the Volant air intake its a bad machine. IMG_2524.jpg

HAH! Thank bro I truly appreciate that - I am open to all inputs and constructive criticism as well.

I didn't see this earlier I apologize, my goal is to build a truck for me and others to enjoy. I am not lifting it crazy high but just right, hopefully it comes out classy but yet unique.

37s are the goal and with the correct fab and trim work should be easily doable.

One of the most convenient bed covers for my needs and one of the best on the market. Very durable great easy install - thanks Retrax!

I see you are going 7" BDS and FOX setup but debating 35 vs 37 tires. Personally I think the 35 will look small given the 7" lift. I am running the same 7" suspension with 37's and there is zero rub and some trimming was done. I only have 400miles on my truck but the suspension is already starting to smooth a bit. My shop has done 10qty 2014 Tundra's to this spec and they recommend a suspension check and possible adjustment at 1500 and 3000miles to address the settling from break-in miles. Look forward to watching your build.

Thanks for the input my man I will def. check up on everything at those miles- whats your offset?

Depending on how things work out I will be running 22x12 with -44 offset. So basically should have quite a bit of rub. There is a guy over on TT with a white 14 on 7" 35s on it and he rubs like mad with -44 offset.

I am not sure of the actual offset. Perhaps that can be found on the AE Alloys site but I have not checked. The rims are 20". Tires are 37 x 13.5. I have backed up and driven forward at lock position both left and right and confirmed no rub in any direction.

I dont recall that I personally know anyone who does have one. My CAI works just fine, it has slightly more throttle response and a nice growl.

Please Dont honk at me anymore my friend, you think you have train horns? Can't wait to get these installed, off to powdercoater first Thank you Hornblasters for the best train horns out there. I was originally going with the Nathan but I decided the Katrina would suffice. photo-14.jpg
